Tula — Attraction in Minneapolis

Tula spa is a sweet little spot. My husband bought me a facial and a massage for my birthday. It’s quaint and charming with a shabby chic feel. They have a great selection of handcrafted products and gift items, as well as the higher-end luxury organic skincare options. My Glow facial with Chloe was sublime - I’d never had dermaplaning before and she carefully described the whole process from start to finish before we got going. The whole facial was so relaxing and my skin really did glow the next day, I confidently went to work with no makeup on. Between my services I was given a robe to change into and a bucket to carry my belongings from room to room. My massage with Sarah was a good deep tissue massage. It wasn’t the best massage I’ve ever had, but I appreciated the cupping which helped me feel some more softness in chronically tight back muscles. I just wish she would have done more to get under my shoulder blades where there’s real work to be done. Easiest 5-star review I've ever written! I was planning a staycation and setting up a few self-care services; hadn't had a facial in a while and found Tula via organic google search. Scheduling online was easy, and I was impressed with the variety of service offerings.

The spa is gorgeous, very thoughtfully put together and a beautiful space. Mikinzie met me at the door and was a pro from the moment I got there. Welcoming, friendly, and highly focused on me, she reviewed what we'd be doing and what that included, and answered my questions. I sometimes struggle when going to a new spa for the first time because you never quite know what the rules are, but Mikinzie put me completely at ease and made everything feel effortless.

6/12/22 UPDATE: Still loving Tula Spa! I've now been getting waxes from Daisy for about a year or so. Daisy is amazing! She's quick and I don't experience much pain - sometimes not at all! That partially depends on the frequency of my waxes, but I think Daisy's technique and ability to keep clients at ease is also a credit to a waxing experience with minimal discomfort. She's so friendly and easy to talk to, which makes for a great distraction and an all-around comfortable experience. Would highly recommend Daisy and Tula Spa!!

I first started going for bikini waxes - I had never had one before coming here and was a little nervous, but the two estheticians I've seen (Danielle and Natalie) always make me feel comfortable.
