After paying the local dealership over $760. for an oil change, gas filter replacement and a $185.00 inspection fee, they threw an additional quote of over $3K at me for coolant system repairs necessary for my diesel Ram 1500 to run. My gut (and recent 2020 experiences) told me not to trust them. So I had my truck towed to an Auto Club recommended auto shop who after review said the job was “over their head.” They lacked confidence in their ability to perform the repairs. I needed somebody who could handle the deep engine job. They recommended S & H Auto Repair Group who came to look at my truck. Sergio quoted me a repair estimate that was half what the dealership quoted. They promptly completed repairs and I saved over $1700.00…they even washed the vehicle! So glad I listened to my gut. PS: The Scott McCanles of the world need to chill out and realize auto repairs cannot be timed like a Swiss watch. All it takes is for one bolt to strip or one nut to refuse to loosen and the entire job takes longer. If Sergio cannot give you an exact time of completion it's because he's being honest...he really cannot say. Queen Scott obviously wears a tiara and expects everything to be done within his timeframe. He bailed before he was even a customer. Perhaps he forgot to take his meds that day. I was going to have a part installed in my car, which I purchased from a supply house who suggested I use them. I made an appointment for 10:00. I showed up early only to be told the part will not arrive until between 10:00 and 11:00. Sergio informed me he would call when the part arrived. Then he told me to call him, which I thought was strange as he is right there. I called at 11:00 and Sergio told me the part was there. When I asked hm about what time my car would be ready, he told me he was busy with another car and would work on my car when he was finished. When I asked again approximately what time I could pick up my car, he told me he had no idea!!! They do these installs all the time, so I didn’t understand the aloofness and attitude I was given. Anyway, I told him I would be coming back to pick up my car and to not attempt to work on it. Terrible...

Stopped In Today, As I Am Visiting Some Family In The Area. I Arrived At About 8.30A. The Shop Was Open And They Were Up And At It. I Was A Tad Concerned That They Would Not Be Able To Work Me, My Car, In, For A Quick Eval. They Quickly Proved Me Wrong. The Gentlemen At The Front Desk, Stopped What He Was Doing, To Help Me. I Feel Much Better And Confident In The Needs of My Car, And Will Be Back Early In October To Complete The Services Recommended. A Reliable And Trustworthy Auto Shop Is Priceless.
