Review of GameStop:

I recently visited GameStop, my experience was a mix of positives and negatives, leading to my 3 out of 5 rating.

On the positive side, GameStop's range of video games, including both new releases and classics, is impressive. They also have a good variety of gaming accessories and merchandise, which is great for enthusiasts looking to enhance their gaming setup or show off their fandom. The store layout is navigable, making it easy to find specific items.

However, there were a few downsides. The prices at GameStop can be steep compared to online retailers, which might deter budget-conscious gamers. Additionally, the trade-in values for used games are disappointingly low, which is a letdown for those looking to exchange old games for new ones. Another point of contention is the staff's approach; while some are knowledgeable and helpful, others seem less enthusiastic and less informed about the latest gaming trends.

The Missoula crew has always been great to work with. They don't push anything at you (like warranties or upgrades). I'm pretty sure they're all gamers because they know about games above what you can read online.

They stock most games and consoles, as well as accessories. Not just console accessories, but clothing, cards, toys, kitchen accessories (seriously, they have a Pokémon popcorn maker last time I was there).

The staff knows what games are coming, if the games are pushed back, and occasionally have release parties.

I have young kids and they like to run around. The employees have always been able to get them focused on something so they aren't running around. And they can do this without being angry towards the kids. That's a skill in...

This review is for the store/staff only as Gamestop as a company is questionable at best. Been in a few times for trade ins and bought some gift cards and used equipment. Staff were all very nice and helpful. We did have some system issues but they did eventually get it working well enough to complete transactions, not their fault as i noticed the website was also acting up before i went in. A used xbox controller did end up with stick drift a cpl months later but luckily i got the protection on it and they replaced it with no questions asked.
