I love the energy Park the history in the exact area where the park is is in itself extremely cool. Now there are Weekly concerts every Thursday night is a free concert and you can rent out Amphitheater for your own show if you desire. This park used to. Have have beautiful flower gardens and people eating lunch on your lunch breaks I will go down there to write in my journal now it's a place that the town lets how much people hang out and sleep and it's unfortunate. When there is a planned event I highly recommend you go cuz it is a lot of fun however I recommend going to a different Park if you're just going to bring your kids down for a half an hour to hang out with them or something more than there are a group of people hanging out and smoking cigarettes and it's just not a healthy environment at this current moment unless there's an event going on.

It's a pass through park where one can sit, with benches and a band stand. I visit to draw and reflect. Summer concerts and theater performances.

A nice little park, somewhat shabby. Benches to sit, but no picnic tables, which is kind of what we were looking for.

This place was terrible! Trying to go support locally and went on a wild goose chase to a dog event that said it was at Green River Park. I knew where Green River Park was and hadn't been there in decades, got there and there was no dog park, but luckily was redirected towards the fairgrounds by the nice girl at the gate house. Well, since I hadn't been downtown in so long I went that way but had to make a quick stop to let the dog out to pee, and went down to Energy Park off Main Street. We drove into the EMPTY parking lot and weren't even at the park but maybe 10 min. I come back to a $10 ticket, ON A SATURDAY??? I live in downtown Springfield, THEY don't even ticket on a Saturday! So sad Greenfield, you're NOT NYC, what a waste. I'd like to think the money would go to cleaning up your pathetic park but sadly it won't! What a greedy, money hungry and pathetic place to visit! If this comment section would let me then you would be getting NO STARS from me, because sadly, YOU DON'T SHINE!! So glad that I stayed away for decades too, won't be coming...

A smaller park with not much to do. It has some statues and small play scapes of trains which kept my 3 year old nephew entertained for a maybe 30 minutes. It runs along active train tracks (don't worry, it's fenced and safe). There's some areas to sit and a medium amount of flat open green space. Well maintained.

While there's not a lot to do perse, I'm glad it exists. It's a good place to gather with friends to socialize or picnic, which is especially nice during COVID. If you have lawn games, I'm sure this could be an acceptable...
