Yankee Mattress Company — Hotel in Greenfield

Best mattress buying experience ever!!! I will list all the exemplary points of this company:

1. No high pressure sales tactics. All they do is supply you with information to make the best decision for yourself. They do not talk down about other stores, or push accessories on you. In fact, as we were leaving the store, the salesmen thanked us for our time and said once we made a decision, if we decided to buy from them, we could just call and order the mattress. He also said it usually takes 1 and half to 2 weeks to build and deliver the mattress. We received ours in 1 and half weeks.
2. They do not require you to buy a "mattress protector" or "box spring" to maintain your warranty. The mattresses can be laid on floors, platform beds or existing box springs that are strong enough to provide firm support, without voiding your warranty.
3. The prices are fixed. There are no sales! The price you see is the same for everyone. With that said, the mattress we ultimately decided on was less than half the cost of our 8 year old mattress, and we like it better than we did that other mattress when had first gotten it.
4. The delivery team called several days in advance to schedule delivery. Then they called the day before to confirm. And then the day of to let me know they would be at my house in the next 2 hours, which they were. They were extremely nice and professional. Also, the removal fee for the old mattress was only $15. We would have had to pay $35 to bring it to the dump ourselves. The bottom line is that Yankee Mattress Factory is a fantastic, honest, enjoyable company! Our mattress is spectacular, and my wife's back issues are already much improved since sleeping on the new mattress over the past week. We highly recommend...

My previous mattress, which I had gotten from Mattress Firm - maybe all of a year prior - had flattened so much that it was making my back hurt regularly. So I decided to check out Yankee Mattress Factory.

I was greeted by the store manager - I believe her name was Jennifer? (I'm so sorry if I got that wrong, this was last year!) She was very upbeat and happy to help! I ended up buying a mattress for a fraction of what other places were charging for their entry-level models. And yet this mattress even has pocketed coils and memory foam!! I have been sleeping on it for a year now, and even though I'm a little on the heavy side, the mattress has not compressed nor sagged in any way. It's VERY comfortable, and I haven't had back problems ever since switching - and I was having very bad back problems every day because of my old mattress, and I'm not even 30 yet!

One of my favorite things about buying a mattress here is that it's all local. It's not just "Made in America", it's "Made in Western MA"! I was told a man by the name of Joe is going to build it for me and it will be ready in about a week! The mattress was NOT made in a huge factory, compressed, rolled up, and shipped here from China; rather, it was made to order by a local factory right nearby in Agawam, MA.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a mattress, AND you want memory foam AND pocketed coils, AND you want something that's built well AND locally, then you need to go to Yankee Mattress Factory. Trust me, as a happy customer: you will NOT regret making...

Liam in the Greenfield showroom has been an absolute pleasure to work with in selecting a mattress and is an incredible asset to the Yankee Mattress Company team! Every time I've gone in the showroom it's exceptionally neat, clean and he's taken it upon himself to even start a little Free Library section for people to swap books at their convenience, what a personal touch! He helped me from the moment I walked through the door (and over 3 more visits spanning 3 weeks) when I had every question imaginable in terms of how mattress technology has changed in the last 15 years, never pushing me towards any one mattress but instead pointing out the various differences throughout their mattress lines and ultimately it was up to me to lay on them and decide what was right for Me. His knowledge of what goes into the inner workings and the different materials used in all of their mattresses is second to none and I challenge you, just ask him about the little things that make EACH mattress unique on top of the things Yankee Mattress does for the community that's actually not well known, I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised! There is no pushy salesman Vibe here, more like talking to a friend that's helping you buy a mattress. That in itself made a world of difference to me when investing in such a high quality, built to order mattress and looking forward to the Quality sleep it's going to bring.
