Saturday October 19th 2024 update.

I'm sure as many of you who read this can figure out I am a regular of this business and have been for at least a decade or so now. During this time I have always been able to depend on world class customer service from General Manger Dennis, their owner Sam, installer Joey and many others.

Dennis and team from the moment you walk through their doors you are greeted with a smile and they treat you like family. Other businesses and stores who do the same as Advanced Car Stereo they just treat you like another sale, another number to get in and out of their shop. Dennis, Sam and everyone they take an active interest in people and they show you that you are not just another sale.

Thank you Dennis and team I will see you guys on the next one in a couple weeks to get the work on my Toyota Avalon done.

I have known business Owner Sam, and his General Manager Dennis for well over 14 years. And because of the integrity on how this location is run I would NEVER go anywhere else!

A few years ago I purchased some amazing Hertz speakers, an amp and sub and had them installed in my car fully loved my purchase. Recently I bought another car and I did have a new Kenwood head unit installed shortly after purchase with front dashcam, I dont know if any of you have ever had a dash cam before but they are life savers! Originally I made fun of the idea when Dennis suggested it, but he explained "just wait eventually you will love it" and Man was he right the dashcam caught a license plate of a hit and run driver who rear ended my 2013 Camry while my wife was driving home from work.

This past Saturday I decide that its time to get rid of the older car I'm not using anymore, but I wanted my audio equipment moved to the newer Camry. I called Dennis he gave me an amazing experience having the speakers and amp and everything else transferred over to the new Camry and it was a seamless transition/ install.

Further Update: The Owner who responded has trouble reading and/or speaking to the staff to find out what line of batteries the customer is referencing. If the Owner or Dennis could research what I wrote about below they would not make such poor efforts in their response. I'm sure the algorithm looks highly on responses from owners even though they might be a nonsensical comment.

As of October 2022 Advance Car Stereo is listed as a dealer of Full River Battery on Full River Battery Website. After getting serviced by a dealer who takes their relationship with the manufacturer seriously, they let me know that I should never not get the battery warranty serviced by anyone who is listed as a dealer. Makes sense otherwise why would anyone buy boutique batteries if only the one shop you bought from can warranty them.

Why I got turned away from this shop is due to the high prices supported by lazy and ignorant staff. My latest call and now seeing the response of the owner further keeps me away from this place and I suggest you do also. There are other shops and independents who care about the industry and servicing the customer other than video game players tailing a bill...poorly.

Update: Dealing with a Full River battery for warranty replacement, I contact the manufacture and they say contact any dealer of the battery. I contact these guys and they will only provide service if you bought it from them. This "Dealer" of Full River Batteries are not a real dealer or they are not honoring their dealership agreement.

It's another stereo shop that offers high prices, poor knowledge, and mediocre installs. Do not shop here if you just need equipment. Get it across the street or online for better prices and customer service. If you need an install, shop around first. If you feel like this is the best option, get everything in writing before signing and check everything...
