Drove 3hrs to go to @fashionnovacurve store in Montebello CA to return clothes I had purchased online. All of the clothes purchased were on Sale due to the Memorial day sale that was going on, I was previously told that I was only allowed to return discounted clothing IN STORE (which is why I drove 3hrs for this return), I arrived to the store with everything that was sent to my home in the original packaging and everything. So first off, the women in the plus size store were not plus size at all and very UNWELCOMING (let me remind you, they have a whole separate store placed in an entirely different area of the mall. So when I got into the store I was prepared to return my clothing, the woman doing my "return" (I was actually trying to exchange my clothing for something else in store) had given me attitude that I have never before received from anyone in customer service and snatched my receipt out of my hand and said "These are all final sale you can't return them" so I pulled up everything I received in my order conformation NO WHERE HAD IT SAID THIS WAS FINAL SALE ON ANY OF THE CONFIRMATION PAPERS OR ANYTHING ELSE LIKE THAT. So that being said, I pulled up the whole order and everything and she said "doesn't matter you cannot exchange them" her reasoning for this was EXACTLY "in the fine print on the website it says you cannot make exchanges or returns for anything that had any form of sale on it." So not only did I have to drive 3hrs to go to the only fashionNova store PERIOD but I received poor customer service and I was told I couldn't make an exchange for clothes that actually fit me. Read moreI'm giving this place 3 stars and only because I made shhhh happen myself. Keep reading if you want help with fast service. What I did/said put a fire under their a**. With these people, customer service is TERRIBLE! There is no phone number to call aside from the automated message that hangs up after speaking. Emails send automated messages and it takes days to respond. I had paid the 15 dollars for one day shipping and yes, it was on a Friday so I understood that it was going to be Monday when it shipped. No problem. They took 3 days and nothing. So I contacted the woman who ran FN Instagram page and told her about my situation. Told her I got a confirmation on my order but nothing has been sent and there is no tracking number. She gave me advice and told me to wait patiently and sorry for the inconvenience so I did that. Waited another two days and got a bit rude. She asked for my confirmation order number and contacted a rep herself stating it was urgent. I finally received an email explaining they were getting it ready. (My order was $350) still nothing. So I wrote her again on Instagram and told her that I had contacted my lawyer, that I had all proof it was not sent and nothing was being done that my money was still taken. Let me tell y'all SHE HAD IT SHIPPED THAT DAY!!!! If that doesn't work, they do not do refunds. Contact your bank and make a statement that money was taken with no purchase and they will investigate it but you will get your money back. Read moreI gave this store a 3 star because walking in, the girls up front were very nice and welcomed us into the store, which I loved. I went to the store to process an exchange since I usually make my purchases online. There was a pretty long line, but honestly it didn't bother me since I was there with my family. When it was my turn, I was assisted by Jennifer (that's what the receipt says) she had no name tag but her face made an impression, even if she tried to be polite (because that's her job) you can tell she didnt really want to help me or anyone. She gave me the impression like she was to good to be working there, very conceited and self centered to be honest. I get that working in retail is not always the best, but you have to have some people skills and just be nice. It wouldn't kill you to make eye contact or smile, that's the polite thing to do. The reason why I was so eager to write this review is because of what she said about my niece who is 9. My niece was by the register outside the area of her workplace just observing, she is curious. I told her to come around to me and my mom, and Jennifer (the cashier) called her a little chismosa. At first I didnt really make up what she said until later once my niece told me, and I was pretty upset someone would say that about a child.
