Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan LA — Attraction in Montebello

I regularly go to this temple on Thursdays. After not going there for some time due to the pandemic, I went there today with my mother. The gate was open and I could see few people inside. So we entered and saw there were actually more people inside. As soon as the priest and other guy who was there saw us, they said We are closed and asked us to leave. I asked them we drove 15 miles to come to the temple, at least let us see SaiBaba from the door. They said we cannot and asked us to leave. We were already inside the temple on Lord Shiva’s side, and there were more people there. What wrong could have happened had they allowed us to see Baba for a minute. We felt so unwanted, My mom was so hurt and she almost cried after the experience. I don’t think Baba would have allowed this. Very clean temple with a large and beautiful idol of Sai Baba strikingly adorned with colorful clothes, jewels and floral ornamentation. One can feel the energy during the aarti and otherwise. Genial priests and Baba’s darshan make the experience magical. Parking is sometimes tough to find however with blessings one can. One request is to have a better arrangement for shoes as they are littered all over the place and is the first sight when entering the temple. I understand the administration did put signs to put shoes at the right place. Ganesha’s statue close to entrance is desirable. Temple includes a good size Shivalingam, statues of Lord Ganesha and Murugan, but not Shiv-Parvati (correct me if I am wrong). Gender bathrooms are the latest convenience added. I used to love this temple, have been going there for almost 10 years, but, the lady who lives there is very racist and weird. She doesn’t respect people unless you look really old, she doesn’t distribute everyone’s Prasad, only her favorites. She keeps staring at people like people are going to steal something of hers. After talking to few volunteers, I learnt that she is mean and rude and selfish and does things that are not moral. I am too scared to even go back, because of her behavior. Please change that. Sai baba never believed in any of these things that this lady is doing and hurting the devotees...
