I would like to express how rude and disgusting the management is at this spot. I had left a review on yelp and the owner remembered exactly who I was and what I did. Mind you, I was kind and respectful when interacting with them. The first paragraph is my original review and then I revised it.

Anyway, the problem was that I ordered two matches with cold foam. Only one was made with cold foam. I asked why this happened and she said I never asked or paid for it. She said I had to pay for it and I said I don’t want to charge my credit card for $1 and wait in the line, so I said forget it. Then, my sister and I tasted our drinks and it was as if they gave us green sugar water. I’ve had ceremonial grade matcha in both Japan and the US. Either they’re not using ceremonial matcha or they’re using too little so that they won’t use too much. If the owner has ego issues, she should take that to therapy, not to Yelp. I was very respectful and kind. I did not cause a scene. I also did not throw a fit that I REFUSED to pay. I said it’s ok because I didn’t want to charge for that little on my card. I’m also pretty sure I had paid for that cold foam. The drinks were so bad that I requested a refund. Obviously, this offended her so badly that she weirdly remembered everything that happened but painted me to be a rude Karen. Well, I know who I am and I know that I was nothing but kind.

Forget the disgusting matcha, it’s not even that at this point. I say don’t go because the owner is rude and egotistical.

I don’t get how this place has such high stars. Maybe these people don’t know what matcha should taste like or maybe they’re family or friends.

As an avid coffee enthusiast, l've had the pleasure of exploring numerous coffee shops and taste many varieties and flavors of drinks, from refreshers to espressos and pour overs. After trying Roam & Brew Coffee I must say it was a refreshing change to my palette from the every day coffee shop.

Roam & Brew Coffee presentation of Catering was top-notch. Their mobile coffee bar was elegant and stylish, fitting seamlessly into the event's decor. Every detail, from the polished equipment to the neatly arranged condiments, was meticulously planned. The setup not only looked professional but also operated smoothly, ensuring quick and efficient service without long wait times. Their menu was great, it wasn’t overwhelming and had great options.

The highlight of Roam & Brew Coffee is undoubtedly the quality of their coffee. Each cup, whether a robust espresso or a creamy latte, was brewed to perfection. The rich, complex flavors and delightful aromas captivated my senses in every sip! They also provided a variety of milk options, including almond, soy, and oat milk, accommodating everyone's preferences. Roam & Brew Coffee is a modest and cozy corner coffee shop in central district of Montebello, offering consistently excellent quality coffee with a knowledgeable staff.

It’s spacious indoor has a vintage and rustic design that emits a relaxing atmosphere. Similarly, their outdoor bench seats have good street view perfect for sunny days. On their menu, they have a plethora of coffee, tea, matcha and specialty drinks.

I came on a weekend morning and was met by a nonchalant male staff at the counter to get my order. I had a classic Mocha Latte and it was perfectly balanced, with a rich, creamy texture. What I did not expect was they ran out of coffee lid for my bloody coffee. Oh the Horror!! This was my first ever to experience as such; as the Coffee shop Kingpin of LA, I’m utterly befuddled.

Service was kinda slow despite there were only five customers in the shop waiting for their morning coffee. This coffee shop has board games for customers and functioning wifi. Prices were a bit expensive but matched the quality. Finding parking was a breeze due to many public parking lots within in the area.

Collectively, R & B is one of two coffee shops in the area that serve good coffee. In conclusion, I recommend this coffee shop if you’re in the area. So, until then see y’all...
