Alchemy Craft — Restaurant in Montebello

The customer service at Alchemy Craft was horrible. The bar tender who has died yellow hair needs customer service training. When I went to order a drink the customers in front of me was not ready. I could clearly hear the bartender say who ever is ready I will help. So, I asked the customer " is it ok if I go ?". She said yes,

I walked up to the bar and order two drinks. When finished he said, "you need to wait in line next time ". I was in disbelief and didn't want to engage in any form of altercation. Even if I heard wrong the customer allowed me to go and order. But I guess he might of said , when ready I will help? I don't know but clearly he sets the tone and I guess he need to make that clear. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

I had never been to this place, all I wanted was to enjoy my friends Bday have good food and a beer. Never had experience anything like that.

Super sweet and knowledgeable staff also had some great food recommendations...talk about awesome service. Today was my second visit and I opted for the Philo Pastry Sour. Super light and drinkable if you aren't huge on beer (you'll enjoy this). I've also had the their Watermelon Habanero cider which is great, but will catch you off guard in the best way possible. On the heavier side of beers they have a really good milk stout which I normally veer away from but I was pleasantly surprised. This place is great because of the selection of beers and also it gives you a chance to try a lot of local beers as well. Long review short, stop here if you are in the area or want to venture...

I got the Mexican Lollipop because I love Mexican candy 😅. I got it with the rim and while it was tasty, I didn't know the rim was extra and it was pretty expensive for the amount of alcohol there was.

Service was great. The staff members were really nice and took the time to go through the different beers they had.

There are some tables inside but a lot more outside because it's located inside the Blvd Market, which I really like. There's street parking...
