Went for my first and last time to the old location about a year ago; clerk was extremely rude and for some reason watched me like a hawk the entire time I shopped. At checkout she accused me of lying about which rack I had found an item on. Then started inventing additional charges, i.e. there was a bag sale going on and I filled the bag with clothes. She said it was "too full", pointing to where the bag was stretching (the bag was still completely intact and tied up). She then said it would be $7 instead of $5. Then she rang up a local church cookbook as several dollars more than the rest, claiming that it was priced differently, when there was no sticker or sign or ANY indication that that was the case.

Read more1-9-17 Floor was stained terrible from pet urine and feces all over store a couple months ago. Store is cherry picking items and putting antique prices on them. If I wanted to look and pay for antiques at antique store prices I would go to an antique store. I thought this was a thrift store.
I spend $30-$60 every other week at a thrift store in Fargo that has good thrift store prices. I have spent around $25 at this store every 3 months because of the prices on vintage items.

Read moreMy favorite kind of thrift store. Small yet dense selection, great deals and some real gems to find (some literally!) The proprietor is very kind, though understandably embittered by those who would not respect the business. Be nice to her, she deserves it. The sales are a steal, I almost felt bad for some of the prices I got! All the money goes toward helping locals with vet bills and it feels good to support such a business model. If you leave donations don't leave them outside where they can get stolen or rained on....
