My sister and I were at Starbucks. She was doing her homework and decided to order chipotle through the app. She got a notification saying her food was ready. When she went to pick it up they told her they were closing lobby for 35-40 minutes and if she wanted to pick up her food that she needs to go through the drive-thru. She told them we didn’t have a vehicle because we used Uber. Furthermore, she told them since her food was ready and paid for and since she was already in the lobby if they could just give her, her food but they refused. We found a ride to come get us so we could pick the food up at the drive-thru. When we pulled up to the window no one came for a while. (They had a lot of employees working may I might add) When they finally came they asked my sister for her name for the pick up order and when she told them they said they needed proof. A second person came again and asked for her name and when she told them they just shut the door and proceeded doing other stuff. She couldn’t find her name on the mobile app receipt so I showed her where to find it meanwhile they had shut the window and had us wait a gripppp AGAIN. (Prior to this she did show them her mobile order & asked if she could just spell her name for them) It took for me to get off the car and knock on the window for them to give us the food. No I didn’t knock hard. No, I wasn’t rude. I had kids in the car and they were getting impatient. So I just knocked and showed them her phone and said she found her name can we please get her food so we can leave. They finally gave it us. We get home. The food is obviously cold. Not even 4 bites in I find a long piece of hair in my food. THAT IS DISTURBING. I’m gonna try calling and asking for a refund but I doubt they’ll give it to me. While waiting for our food my sister and I saw them making other people’s food very aggressively and just throwing it into bags. I definitely won’t be coming here again. I read other reviews and it’s sad how this happened to multiple people. 2.7 stars for this chipotle place is crazy. Please save your money and go somewhere else. This place...
Read moreThis Chipotle has a few notable features. First, I do appreciate the location. I must say, something impressive about this Chipotle is how consistent they are at making online orders completely wrong. If this was one instance, no biggie, accidents happen. Somehow, this is just about every time I go to this Chipotle. I can't have dairy, so I often order my burrito without cheese. Apparently this is just a suggestion to them because I frequently receive cheese. Guacamole is often forgotten, which would be fine if it were free, but it's about $2.95. Pop orders are often wrong. I see how you could confuse Diet Coke and Root Beer if you didn't look at the fountain at all, closed your eyes, and hoped for the best. I've also been given my pop in a water cup, notably smaller than the fountain drink cups. Most recently I ordered with my boyfriend. A sofritas bowl, chips, and a steak burrito We picked up in the Chipotlane. My boyfriend noted that the chips were missing, went back in, and asked for the chips, clearly labeled and on the shelf. Upon arriving home, we noticed how small the steak burrito was. Curious, we opened it to discover that the burrito simply contained rice. Nothing else. After driving back, we did receive the proper burrito. The manager was very kind and helpful, the rest of the service left something to be desired, like steak for example. Perhaps reading comprehension is a challenge for those preparing the orders, if so, accommodations may need to be put in place so this doesn't continue happening. Visual recipes? Orders read allowed? Someone overseeing? Repeated training? Hard to say what the solution is, but hopefully this Chipotle will work on their ability to fill order accurately. In the meantime, I may just make a longer commute to a separate Chipotle.
P.S. The helpline is absolutely useless. After asking the cheerful robot to speak to a human, I just kept getting...
Read moreWhen I saw that a Chipotle had opened in Moorhead (quite sometime ago) I was excited to visit it when I was in town (I live 40 miles away). Today I was in the vicinity around 4 pm - I walked in and automatically saw unclean tables and garbage on the floor. There were 3 patrons seated eating. No one was at the counter, but 2 men were in plain view at what appeared to be a prep table in front of me. After a couple minutes - one of the men indicated he would be with me shortly (he was emptying a bowl of white rice into another container)…this took another 2-3 minutes and the other man at that table asked the man emptying the white rice if he wanted the other guy to help instead - to which the first guy said I’ll get her. As I stood there waiting - a third employee was sticking a probe in some of the items on the serving table and looking at a computer….she hadn’t gotten to check the meat before the man came to help me….the item choices in the serving area ALL looked old/almost empty - except for the white rice the guy just added… I told him I wanted a Chicken Burrito and asked about a couple items (like I couldn’t see the black beans due to so much liquid in the container). When he got to the meat - he just stood there and looked at me!!! I said - I told you chicken in which he said oh, that’s right….i was completely disappointed with the entire experience and actually considered not eating the burrito when I got home😳 Some bites with the brown rice in the burrito had hard rice in them!!!!! I sure hope I don’t get sick from bad chicken, etc!!! Also, do you have to ask for napkins with a take out...
