Boy, do I regret renting a room here!!! We arrived to look at the room, & pay damage deposit. Diana was so rude. The room was nasty, (photos attached). I asked if it could be cleaned some before my mother’s 90th birthday party the next day, at least sweep the floor. The maintenance guy happened to be in the office, claimed he just got back from vacation, and said he would take care of it, plus he said he’d set up the tables. Diana gave us the key, but failed to explain how to lock & unlock the building door.(It’s a strange contraption, which if my brother hadn’t thought to check the door before we left, we would have been completely screwed, as Diana explained there is no one to contact on the weekend should we have any issues. So we went back to tell Diana about the door, she acted as if we were annoying her, and treated us as idiots. (Again, she’s very rude). We arrived the next morning to set up, and absolutely nothing had been done to our room, floor was still filthy, windows were so nasty, we had to clean them. And don’t get me started on the kitchen sink in the room, disgusting!!!! My brother and I both live in Florida, and had to leave early Monday morning, so I asked Diana if we could drop off key, and pick up our deposit first thing. She said we couldn’t pick up deposit until after 1pm, because they have to inspect our room. At this point, my patience was thinning, so I commented “ I can promise it will be left way cleaner than it is now. Apparently, rude Diana didn’t appreciate my comment. She turned more hateful than before. Middle of June, and the building was soooo hot, the room air conditioner is horrible, but at least we had a remote to use for it, the party a few doors down came to ask if they could use our remote as their room didn’t have one, so my brother took it to their room to see if it would work, but it didn’t. Their room was packed with kids and adults, and it was like a sauna in their room. I had asked Diana when I was reserving the room if there was a refrigerator we could use, as I was making the birthday cake, and it needed to be chilled until party. She said yes there was. But upon our arrival, she changed to “we only have one for special rooms. Needless to say, the cake, as well as cupcakes melted. (Frosting). I’ve never been so disheartened! I will never use Rose Center again, and believe me, I have, & will continue to share this horrible experience!!!

This place is amazing. Joy is the BEST music teacher. She's energetic and my kids love her. There is also some cool things to check out. The quilts are beautiful, the old school room is super neat and the people coming out of the yoga classes always look happy, like they've had the best of times working out! Great little piece of history here.

Seen a couple of live bands play here a couple of nights ago. Very cool architecture on the outside of the original building. Large room with stage for the concert was very nice and all the volunteers working that evening were super nice!

I was there for a wedding and there was some issues we had that we were told wouldn't happen. Air conditioning was not working and it was so hot. We had to bring a fan out just to have some air circulation. We were told no other events would be scheduled except a musician but would be in other building. There was a Christian group that was booked without out us knowing and they were in area for wedding going back and forth. Lots of people we didn't recognize. Plus the Christian group raised hell because the wedding was a pagan wedding. First off none of their business and second the rose center was responsible for this. Lack of communication and can't even remember my friends booking the wedding and putting deposit down even though they had the receipt for deposit. The whole thing was a mess. Lack of professionalism and discrimination. I would never throw an event here ever again. It was such a hassle. Luckily the wedding was beautiful and we had a great time regardless of all the obstacles and uninvited people that had no problem walking through our dance floor and in and out of front entrance that was supposed to be off limits except for the...

The building is gorgeous inside and out. The office staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. I attend music lessons with Ms. Joy at Joy's School of Music and she is phenomenal! So patient and encouraging. I recommend her to everyone I meet who is looking for a music teacher. And she teaches pretty much everything you could want to learn. She is dedicated to her students and passionate about music....
