I tried to use my mobile app to place an order inside the restaurant. And 1 little tiny mistake changed the entire ordering process. Mind am a happy go lucky person. Worked in this industry many many yrs ago while going to college. But Never In All My Taveling or Dinning Out have I been made as mad as I was 30 min ago. OMG!!! AND come to find out it was THE MANAGER!!!. She coldly and pointe blank told me I was trying to place an order on a mobile app and she knew Nothing about it. OK give the old girl that one. Cause the company may not require it. But Why Not in this day and time. But her attitude of not wanting to help OR wait on me was too much to bare. So she took the family behind me's order. NOW I should, NO I have the Right to condemn her cause I am an Older Lady too. Look great for 58. BUT as a Manager, she should have handled ME, the Customer, in a much Better Manor. Come on. Courtesy, Professionalism, and dam sure just common courtesy should have ask Me if she could have taken the next order. AND at some point maybe have even apologized and said I am so sorry I can't help you but you take your time and try to figure it out. Because her little young teenage coworker tried so very hard to help me. The Manager went on to try to be snide and low toned try to address me and my issue. Yea Right. At this point her professionalism is Gone so my attitude took over. She should have handled Me and the situation better. I realized a family came in and I immediately apologized for the loud voice I know they heard. They were very nice. But guess what??? The manager was too busy over trying to explain to the other older lady running drive through all about it. So SHE the coworker handed me my food. Not Rude. Just cold point blank. Wow. I guess she is siding with her buddy the Manager. Wow. Ppl I have an educated mind with a mouth I am not afraid to use. I will explain it to anyone that wants to listen. So. With all this said, Burger King needs to regroup with their qualifications for a Manager. But first and Surely Foremost, How To Treat A Customer. That is #1 on the Manager Trainee Manual. FYI...give it to the little young lady that actually tried to help me. And I made it a point to thank her. As for the other older buddy to the Manager, stay in your lane. You really need to see what it is worth before putting a dog in this race. And just to let you know a little more about me. My husband and I own our own company. For many yrs now. Never would I treat a customer that way. And we know several City Employees along with Largest Realtors in the area. I will scream till ever one hears my opinion. Until that Manager learns the apps we use today OR she is demoted. Dollar General doesn't use them get a job there. McD and Walmart sure does. Common Coutesty. And a very few chosen words would have changed this entire outcome tonight. It's a new day and age. We as the older generation Have to do the best we can to keep up. No knowing is OK. Maybe learn it. Mean, Snide, and lack of common morrals is NO Excuse esp for women of our age. What example are u setting for the younger generations esp for the young co workers that need to learn how to handle these situations. I don't want her Fired. Demoted or Just Plain Ole ReEducated. Just Changed. Just handle it a Lot...
Read moreI placed a mobile order for pickup at the drive-thru and had my mom driving. When we pulled up to the window, the employee handed us a bag and a drink. I immediately said I didn’t order a drink, and my mom flagged the girl at the window to let her know. From the moment she came back, her attitude was terrible. My mom calmly explained it wasn’t our order, and the employee snapped, “Then why did you take it?! You should have told me!”—complete with hand gestures and eye-rolling. She slammed the window in frustration.
Then another woman came over, and instead of trying to help, she was just as rude—as if we were the ones causing a problem. Eventually, a man handed us the correct order, but no one offered even the slightest apology for how we were treated.
To top it all off, the burger was wrong—again. Honestly, this happens every single time we come here. I don’t know why I keep giving this location another chance. The customer service is consistently awful, the orders are rarely correct, and after today, I’m done....
