Beautiful, well kept private home. Great history and information behind the home and family. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the family history and home. It is free to visit during visiting hours, but they will expect donations which- I think is appropriate! Wonderful place

Excited to return for a complete tour of the premises. Renovations were underway when we arrived, but fortunately we were met by a caretaker. She explained an abbreviated history of the home and took time to provide us with some literature regarding the Smith family. Additionally, she referred us to another historic home in the area. Thankful we had the opportunity to see it before the work is complete. Should provide a bit of perspective...

Absolutely love this house!! I've been three times, bringing along different friends to see it. Such a cute gem and so much history. The house has all the original furniture and the ladies who work there will tell you all the info. They also decorate for the seasons so it's fun to stop by at different times of the year. They give tours on certain days. Especially at christmas they offer a christmas program with live music and storytelling for the kids. You really need to hear the story behind the family that owned the house to appreciate the tour. You need to visit during christmas and during regular time. At christmas they have a...
