Brannock & Hiatt Furniture Co., Inc. — Local services in Mount Airy

So, my wife and I ordered furniture back in August of 2020.......and were still waiting for it today 4/1/2021....

I want to leave a very honest review though, so here goes.

Sales experience was great, everyone was very helpful and didn’t mind helping us out for the 3-4 hours we were deciding on fabrics, etc.. When we decided to make the purchase, they warned us then it could be December before we got the furniture, we said no problem. So December, January, February, and now March have all passed and we are still waiting.

Every month I called to check it was the same story, it’s been delayed by another month. Understanding that these guys are at the mercy of the furniture manufacturer, I didn’t get to upset, until today...

Last week I called to check on the furniture and was very honest with them, in that if it was pushed out another month, I wanted to cancel the order. The gentleman on the phone took my number so he could research and call me back. Indeed about 15 minutes later he called me back and ensured me it had been built, and would be on the truck to arrive this week.

So I called today to see if it had arrived or at least shipped and suddenly no one could get me that information at this time.......So I called the manufacturer directly where I was informed it wasn’t complete and probably wouldn’t ship for at least an additional 3-4weeks......

All I ask is for honesty and transparency and wasn’t given either the past couple weeks......what began as no fault of their own, as I stated I get the COVID related delays, quickly soured me in that I was told a lie and then no one could help.

Great group of people they really are, but please don’t feed people bull. I know you can’t help the delays, but be honest.....A quick google search of the manufacturer and a call to their customer service group was all I had to do to gather the information needed about...

Can’t say enough about the all the people at Brannock & Hiatt. If you are going anywhere else you’re not getting the best available. 33 years ago we furnished our new home with all appliances from B&H and up until the last few years, everything still worked flawlessly. That said, yes we have had to make some replacements and never had any second thoughts about where to make our purchases. Tommy and crew stand behind their products and provide top service when needed. Our latest replacement was a new refrigerator. Went back with a Kitchenaid since our last one we had was 33 years old. Truth is it still ran great but we replaced because ice maker quit and with the age decided to just replace. Guys delivered the refrigerator and were absolutely great!!! They worked great together to get the install completed and made sure we understood everything about the appliance. They impressed both my wife and I with how well they worked together to have everything done in a timely manner, great job!!! Hopefully our new items will last a long time, but make no mistake, when replacement is needed we will be back at...

I continue to have stellar service. I have an older refrigerator purchased at Brannock and Hiatt by the previous owner of my house, that was making strange noises right before Christmas. I was worried about my food and called service. My appliance was repaired the same day with a $22 part! You just don't get this kind of service anywhere.

I highly recommend them. I have bought living room furniture, my basement furniture, a woodstove and a Big Green Egg. They have always been great to work with and always make...
