CyberGear — Local services in Mount Airy

CyberGear in Mount Airy is the BEST place I’ve EVER visited in my entire life for tech problems! So knowledgeable about hardware, software (Apple or Microsoft) and the multitude of tech devices and adapters. Works on really old and/or brand new tech. Will recycle unusable hardware after removing all personal data. No appointments, just walk in! No lines, no waiting; this business somehow calmly multi-tasks like the speediest supercomputer in the world. Super service — professional AND personal AND fast. Treats everyone with respect; always able to explain the problem(s) and solution(s) to low-tech, medium-tech or high-tech users. Nice, comfortable, clean environment. Not too small (like a random techie’s tiny garage space) and not too large (like a crowded Best Buy store). Pricing is very reasonable, especially given the excellent quality of service!

I drove more than an hour to bring my iMac to CyberGear because they were so helpful and friendly on the phone. Charlotte would have been much closer to me but for whatever reason, there's no certified apple service locations in Charlotte and after the great experience I had at CyberGear, I'd STILL drive the extra distance to take my equipment to them. Took my laptop in due to power button issues. They quoted me free diagnosis. When I took it in the gentlemen (forgive me I’m bad with remembering names) who was working opened my laptop up after explaining the issue while I waiting. Showed me the cause and basically fixed it at no charge due to the screw being stripped.
