I love this trail. I've walked some of the trail before, but never the whole thing. Finally rode my bike on it this past week with my son and it was awesome.
It's a fully paved trail that's a little over six and a half miles one way, if my GPS is accurate. It's mostly level other than spots where it goes underneath bridges, but even those slopes are not very steep. People of all ages were out there riding it.
There's tree cover on a lot of the trail, so you're not out there in the blazing sun the whole time. I mean you'll definitely be exposed to the sun quite a bit, but not like some similar trails I've been on before.
There's lots of different scenery along the way. I believe there were two parks along the trail that include exercise type equipment, and there's a dog park as well.
Bathrooms were open and water fountains were working.
Out and back it was about 13 miles, and we did it in about an hour and a 20 minutes, with two stops along the way to get a drink and view the spots.

Read moreBrandon Throntons review is more of a summary of his character rather than this Greenway. I have been running and biking on it for a few years and I love it. As you go through the greenway the river runs along side it in view almost the entire 5 miles or so. The paved path goes under road bridges and over the river. There is a few painted art examples on the cemented raised sewer access holes and great views of the river. There are some great shady spots to relax either on the grass or even in hammocks at one point. I cant think of a better paved trail in a small town...

We wore masks most of the time and distanced ourselves, just to be on the safe side. Place was very clean and inviting, except the rest rooms were closed.
