The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed talking to him. He explained where we were in relation to the different attractions around town. But there was one very disappointing aspect to the center: There is absolutely no mention of the world renown Easter Brothers in their facility at all, or even throughout the town! These gentlemen were born, raised, and still live in this town. They have been singing across the United States for 60+ years and have won numerous Dove awards for their contributions to gospel music! They've been inducted into the Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame. I was expecting the town to have streets named after the brothers and have statues and monuments honoring their achievements, but ....... nothing.
