I am a Grandmother who now has guardianship of her 6 month old grandson. I needed to purchase toner. The sales ladies were extremely helpful. They saw that I was exhausted and in need of some help. They explained to me that by purchasing the toner, that I would receive 30% back. Not only did I purchase toner for my office but I also bought toner for my home as well. They showed me how to use my Staples App. and explained to me that they offer printing services should I need them. They double checked my history to make sure that I was purchasing the correct toner. The also took my recycled toner cartridges and gave me credit for them. There were three ladies and all three of them were so passionate about their jobs and educating me on some different products that Staples has to offer. The customer service did not end there. Faith, helped me and the baby to the car with my 8 boxes of toner and she returned the shopping cart to the store for me. I went into the store feeling exhausted and I left with so much gratefulness in my heart because of these wonderful ladies. Read moreSo aggravated and disgusted with customer service from the corporate level. I bought a desk lamp on 9/29 around 5:15 pm, using my debit card. Got it home and it was broken. Returned to store around 6:30 pm. Swapped it out, the cashier swiped my card to refund (I have reciept) and then swiped to pay for new. SO 5 days later, I am still waiting for my refund. Called the local store and had to wait thru 2 minutes of advertising and button pushing to get to a live person. the manager said they can't help me - I have to call the 800#. This is completely ridiculous.
I am angry and disgusted at the level of customer service. Such a simple transaction and I am the one that ends up having to do all the work because of their faulty product. BTW, the SECOND lamp I got was packed differently, leading me to believe the first lamp I bought was already probably broken when I bought it. Read moreThe people are courteous and helpful, but they frequently make serious errors in my copy and print center orders. They always make it right, but I get so tired of having to check constantly and keep running down there to have them do something over again. They keep sending me coupons that are good for only a week or 10 days and usually expire before I can use them -- I simply can't run down there every week. Or the coupon is good for everything EXCEPT the item I want. I've never figured out how their ink cartridge return for credit works. And their two-for-one offers AREN'T -- you don't get two items for the price of one; you pay full price and then have to apply for a rebate. That rebate doesn't come in the form of a check, but rather a credit card with a credit balance on it, so what they're doing is hooking you into getting a store credit card you never wanted.
