Hammer & Stain Mount Juliet — Attraction in Mount Juliet

We went to Hammer and Stain - Mt Juliet for a bachelorette party. I don’t think I’ve had this much fun since my girls and I did Girl Scouting years ago. We looked through the Project Gallery, which had quite a variety of signs to choose from, and each of us selected a different one to make. These were the first signs any of us have ever made. They provided us with all the quality materials, tools, and personal instructions need for each project. The entire staff was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable with the variety of projects we choose from. Emily, was a godsend! She was very patient and detailed in answering our questions. She even assisted us when we doubted our ability. Kathy, the owner, was right there helping as needed while working with another group also. We never felt rushed. We brought a charcuterie tray and drinks with us to nibble and sip on as we worked. Such fun!! Keep in mind when picking projects and setting aside enough time to complete them, that the smaller signs could take an hour, the large ones can take two hours, and the real big ones can take even longer. When the weather forecast for my daughter’s outdoor birthday party suddenly switched to rain, I scrambled to find a local, indoor venue. When I happened upon Hammer & Stain during a Google search for kids birthday parties in Mt Juliet, I called, not expecting they could help on such short notice. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when Cathy said she was able to accommodate us! When we arrived the day of the party, we were delighted to find a bright, spacious and well-appointed painting studio. Best of all, Cathy and her assistant did an excellent (and patient) job coaching the four bubbly eight year-old girls through painting their personalized wooden monogram signs. Such a cute little place for ceramic painting and other hand-made artistic decor. Our kids had a blast paining their ceramics to customize and paint. They are very clean and organized and have a wide selection of paint colors to choose from. It only took 2 weeks to pick up our final pieces.
