I’m giving a 2 for hopes this will get better. I have been here 3 times now hoping it will get better, and it just does not. Business owner.. please read these negative comments. There are 2 things people are complaining about!
One is your employees, this has been the same situation every time I have visited your shop. No costumer service. No smile. And honestly look so unhappy and miserable to be there. I don’t want to use the word rude, but it is! It is rude to not be happy to help. You reply with that a lot, that the girls would be “happy to help” “happy to help you create a drink” and this is just not true. Your employees simply do not give off “happy to help” AT ALL. This puts a damper on people’s days!! More importantly this puts a damper on your business. Understand that those ladies are the FACE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Something has to change here.
Second is your coffee. I do believe you may have good and strong coffee like you claim, but it is not made correctly. It is an art to create a great coffee beverage and your employees do not try in that. It is thrown together not filled to the top. It’s either too sweet or just gross. I have gotten 3 different drinks and poured out every single one of them. Training needs to be done. Baristas need to be shown how to perfect each coffee just like bartenders have to perfect each mixed drink.
This review is one of 2 I have ever left. Please just take these reviews to heart and do not get offended, instead improve on the things people are pointing out. Like I noticed I’m sure you did as well, these two topics are your main negative reviews....
Read moreThe baristas were the only redeeming part of the experience which was made wholly uncomfortable by the owner. He's so painfully invasive and made terribly unfunny comments. He seems incredibly unaware of his own shortcomings; I just wanted coffee. I could sense the uncomfortability in the workers. The worst part is that he didn't even know what the coffee I ordered was and just looked awkwardly at the barista for help like the dumb, loud kid in class. Why are you behind the counter if you don't know the things you sell? He's like a real life Ryan from the Office except there is no camera zooming and you have to sit with his ineffectiveness. I think it would bode well for him if he spoke less and worked more. Would come back if he wasn't there.
Edit after response: A few things. One, this is absolutely you lurking on your own google reviews, hiding beneath the guise of a made-up assistant that is as real as the compliments you gave yourself. You referring to yourself in third person was especially alarming as well as how you completely invalidated my experience which is a very offensive thing to do women in 2025. Read moreOrdered an iced coffee in store because there is no option for decaf on doordash. I was given a hot coffee. I told the barista I was okay with it because it had already taken long, and they didn’t offer to remake it. I had placed a doordash order for pick up prior to ordering my coffee, the app stated it would be ready in 9 minutes. I asked the barista about it who said it was almost ready. After half an hour of waiting, I asked about it again to another employee. I watched them check the tablet and they realized they had not seen or started the order yet. There was one other table of guests who arrived at the same time I did. Nothing else going on in the cafe. We got our food after 50 minutes, set us back on our travel plans by an hour. When we received the food, the quality was a joke. Club sandwiches on untoasted bread, cold bacon with congealed fat, they forgot to give us the chips that came with it as a side. It was inedible. Terrible experience and a waste of time. Clearly the employees were overwhelmed and didn’t seem like they had the tools to properly succeed at their jobs.
