I've lived in Mt Juliet for over 40 years and decided to check out the Yoga class at the Charlie Daniels Community Center. Mainly to avoid the drive to Goodletsville Community Center. All the activities in Goodletsville are free if you are 60 or older and that's what I was expecting in Mt Juliet. I was told you have to pay an annual fee plus $6 per class which is weekly. What? Ridiculous!! I was at a Pickleball meeting back in the summer and the Parks Director said it wasn't about the $$, it was about providing fun for the families in Mt Juliet as everyone wanted MORE pickleball courts. Apparently, it IS about the $$. The Yoga class Instructor Monday night was excellent but it's not right to charge a class fee in addition to the annual fee. Read moreI had a difficult time navigating and finding information on their website. And when I called it was hectic and unorganized to find the person who could help me. The information was regarding the farmers market. But instead of getting any of the sign up information I was told two farmers who come every year and do farming for a living would be there and that I wouldn’t get any business. It seems hardly fair that only two farmers get to run the whole market all summer. I was told to sell my stuff at the end of my driveway. Read moreSo far, so great. I've just rented a meeting room for my Bridal/Wedding Shower, and another one a week later for my Wedding Reception. We plan to exchange our wedding vows, under the Gazebo, just like my sister did 9 years ago. The staff has been exceptionally friendly and efficient. I'm so excited about getting married in the park.
