You would think in this day and age that people will act and treat you out of love just as the bible teaches us. Recently this city had such a devastating loss that affected the lives of hundreds. One would also say that should make people talk and act different towards their fellow man. Now I may not get likes on this review and all that it proves is your apart of the problem and not the solution, but I'm not looking for that I'm here to speak about my experience.
My family has lived in this area for over 7yrs, my children attend school in Mt Juliet, but the way these business owners and managers treat us is very appalling. I go in to get cakes for a friends birthday and the cashier Mandy who was very sweet btw was assisting another customer with her order. There was an older lady that came out the back with a rack of cakes, now at this point I was not greeted or told it would be just a moment and there was an older lady behind me also waiting to be serviced. The older employee told Mandy I'm waiting for a call again never saying 2 words to me and went behind the swing doors. Once Mandy finished with the customer in front of me she was ready to assist me, all of sudden the lady hung up the phone and proceeded to help the customer behind me. I didnt say anything and really at this point wanted to give them an earful and not a dime of my money, but my best friend love there cakes. To me MY PERCEPTION she did not want to help me because I'm black, there is no other logic or excuse as to why that older lady treated me the way that she did, it is because of my color. I will NEVER spend another dime at this business because of this. Although it may not stop them from running and earning profits, I will be sure to share this with my community The Black community in not supporting this business because of...
Read moreMy bundt cake story...I stopped by the Mt. Juliet store to place a order for my grandsons kindergarten graduation 🎓 and birthday for May 30. I realized when I got home with my bundtinis that out of 24 only 12 of them had birthday hats. I talked to Pam at the Mt. Juliet to ask why only half of the cakes had hats. When she explained I understood. We spoke on me coming back to the store and other ways for me to get the 12 hats for the bundtinis. Pam was sooo determined to do everything she could to make sure I got those hats that she offered to bring the hats to the restaurant tomorrow where we will be having the graduation/ birthday celebration for my grandson Ty 🥳. I want to acknowledge Pam’s above and beyond kindness and loyalty to her customers and her job. Thank...
Read moreWe visited this business on Saturday 2/8 specifically for the chocolate covered strawberry Bundt cake. We were told they did not have any more but would have some the next day. We made a special trip on Sunday 2/9 to purchase the cakes they said they would have. The same lady greeted us, stating that she remembered us from yesterday. She said not only did they not have any chocolate covered strawberry.. they needed to bake strawberry cream Bundt cakes. They didn’t offer to make us any to pick up later. So.. we left two days in a row without the cake we were looking for. Extremely poor service and we will...
