I just left the sonic on N Mount Juliet Road it’s about 10:00 pm. the order taker took our order of course, I ordered a # 12 with EXTRA sauce my boyfriend ordered a # 2 and we got 2 churro packs and a 5 piece cinnamon snack. With that being said we paid for our food and waited 15 minutes I was okay with that because I knew I got chicken which is cooked upon ordering. Then the screen stated our carhop person Jade was coming out with our food we sat there another 10-12 minutes before I told my boyfriend to push the red button again because at this point I was getting irritated. Then they answered the speaker and told us it will be right out as we waited another 5-6 minutes. Once food was to us I checked as normal and once I checked my chicken I noticed there wasn’t EXTRA sauce as I requested {and paid for} Jade had to Go back in because she forgot my boyfriends shake once she returned back to the car I asked her if she could go back and put extra sauce on my chicken as I requested Jade did not return to the car there was an African-American girl with braids and colorful hair. She then Approached the car with such attitude then she stated to us that this is the amount that comes on the chicken me and my boyfriend stated we ask for extra and we also paid for the extra she said oh yeah this is extra if you want any more extra you’ll have to pay for it I then told my boyfriend to grab the chicken and I will leave a review that I am a unsatisfied customer service and that late night crew at this sonic is always horrible!!!!! Read moreThe owners of this franchise needs to replace 90% of its employees with employees that actually care about their jobs and their customers. Without their customers they have no jobs. Stop apologizing in replies to your customers complaining and actually do something about it. The service in the evenings is horrendous. At least two of these young women do not need to be working there at all they don't need to be working with customers or preparing food. I hope that management sees my review and actually reads this and others reviews and stop apologizing. The best apology that you could possibly give is make this an environment that people would love to come to again. Instead of having to go to other restaurants. Sonic used to be one of the best restaurants to go for a flurry, french fries, a nice hot Coney but now I'm looking at the ratings of 3.3 that should tell an owner that something needs to change that's not just one customer being petty that's a bunch of customers with a whole lot of the same complaints that nothing is being done about. I went Sunday evening on Easter to get my granddaughter a flurry & all the girl could tell me is I didn't make it well I don't know who did but it needed to be remade. And whoever did make it doesn't need to put their hands on food. I don't know who made it but it was sloppy. Read moreAt 2 pm, I arrived for Happy Hour to see that when I pressed the button, they cancelled it. I tried a few more times before they responded finally with “we’re not taking orders right now.” I returned an hour and a half later at 3:40 to the same thing; however instead of receiving the “we’re not taking orders” message from an employee (thank you to them on my first time), my button was cancelled multiple times without a response, leaving me confused and frustrated about a lack of communication. As I sat and installed the app (hey, I still want that ocean water), an employee off the clock walked by and gave me a sorrowful look and offhandedly mentioned the inspector was there. During this, the people next to me were confused by the same thing happening to them just to walk to the door to be turned away.
I’m not one to complain because I know that the food service industry can suck; however, I will say the lack of transparency to the customers is absolutely disappointing and upsetting. If you’re not taking orders, communicate it, please, and also don’t act like nothing is happening as my carhop did when she delivered my drinks. Transparency is a good thing, not a fault.
