Ultimate Home Design KITCHEN - BATH - FLOOR — Attraction in Mount Laurel Township

We chose Ultimate Custom Design to remodel out kitchen in February 2024. We are beyond delighted with the outcome!!! The kitchen is open, modern, bright, and extremely functional.

As soon as we walked into UCD we were greeted right away. They sat down with us, discussing what my husband and I had envisioned. Our initial questions were answered during the first visit.

The UCD’s showroom’s display is attractive and presents different kitchen arrangements. An appointment was made for someone to come out to our home for measurements to present design ideas and a price quote.

Onur Kara visited us for the estimate and design two days after our introduction. After our discussion for the remodel, and his review of our existing kitchen, he contacted us a few days later when we were presented with the designs and the cost. We reviewed the first design draft. He patiently worked with us to help select our ideal kitchen. Onur offered ideas that assisted with the workflow, which provided us with the utilization that we had in mind. During the project I had a few ideas, which he openly discussed with me. When they were doable the revisions were made. (side note: previously, we had contacted 2 other contractors and the response from both were slow, plus we had to constantly follow up with them, It was a pleasant change to experience UCD’s prompt and professional response.)

My husband and I decided to move forward with Ultimate Custom Design. Onur managed the project installation. We discovered the construction team had a great work ethic, were professional, conscientious, and efficient.

You can be assured of construction phase updates as we had it on a day to day basis. The installation team was careful to contain the work “mess” to the kitchen area the best they could. The daily cleanup was performed to our satisfaction.

The project was finished in 3 weeks from the onset of the project, one week sooner than expected. We are definitely satisfied with our final open...

Update as of March 19, 2024- did receive the information from them on October 1st. Update as of September 17 - received a call from the company and Han apologized for how everything was handled. I am promised a quote by October 1st. Hoping that the second chance proves my first experience wrong. Will update after Oct 1st again. Has to be most unprofessional company I have dealt with. After research and reading various great reviews, figured will call them in to get a quote. We needed a kitchen remodel, master bath remodel and adding a bath, hardwood floors done. Han came in the first day and after spending a few hours talking, he said he needed other people to come in to give an accurate price. 5 people come to do a walk through after a week. By now we had already spent about 4 hours on this process. Then we go to the store to choose material for accurate pricing. We start the process and 15 minutes into it Han asks us to just wait because another important customer of his had come in and he needed to work with him. We wait for 15 -20 mins and Han never comes back, but some other person came to assist. She took notes and we rescheduled our visit when Han is available next. We go in the following week and Han cannot find our paperwork, so we have to start all over. Arghh, but we do it anyways because we need this work done and we value our time.

Now comes the best part. At this point it's been 5-6 weeks and about 7 hrs of time invested in this process. We have called in every week for an update on a quote. Everytime, it's an excuse..ohh we are busy. Well if you are so busy then don't take more business, what's the point of wasting people's time when you cant produce a quote.

On my last call, Han literally said that if you want you can go with someone else, we are too busy.

I don't even know how one treats a customer like that and not even have a shred of remorse for not doing their part.

My wife and I did a lot of research to find the right company to remodel our kitchen. We read a lot of online reviews and went into Ultimate Design and talked to Ekrem and Pinar based on seeing many positive online reviews and a remodel they had done with a kitchen floor plan similar to ours. We discussed it for a week or so while the we looked at the many options. We had a lot of questions that both put us at ease. Ekrem and Pinar both had ideas we never considered so we went with them. What a pleasant experience from start to finish. There was a very detailed briefing on how and when things would transpire, who would be coming when and how long it would roughly take. It's nice to have one point of contact and the Ekrem/Pinar team are outstanding. Zenon also talked to us at the store and came out to check on progress and did Ekrem many times .The team treated our home like their own, extremely clean and professional. They also were friendly and personable. Leandro and Jim were great with demo and Leandro has awesome sheetrock, spackling and tile work skills. Murat and Pasa were great on cabinet installation and connecting and setting up all new appliances. We changed to recessed lighting and Ersin (the electrician was awesome). The cabinets are a very good quality. (Century 21 cabinets) The granite came from D & D Granite (who works together with Ultimate Design) and the owner Mike was great. Installation went smooth and the team Misael and Raci were personable and professional. Great communication throughout the entire process, stress free and also it's comforting to only deal with one point of contact for everything and not have multiple contractors. Highly recommend...
