Gordon Food Service Store — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

Expired food. I ordered items for pick-up. When I arrived, I saw that the items were past their expiration date. When I told the cashier, she told me "those are the only ones." I went back to the shelf myself and found some that were not expired. These items are for my business; obviously I can't use anything that is expired! How does Gordon think it is okay to sell food that is expired? Why wouldn't they even look? Manager was unhelpful and did not apologize. Somebody is going to get sick if they keep selling expired products! I will not shop...

This place is severely underated and excellent quality! Especially for parties or BBQs. They have a lot of bulk items and are like a mini Sam's club without the membership. They use boxes or you can bring bags but they don't use plastic bags here I highly recommend coming here and trying the different cheeses and meats....they also have a few different cheesecake samplers!

For the general population, prices and selection you are better off at a supermarket. I have found a few items that are not available in the general grocery stores but not enough to make this my go to store. They have a few items for the professional chef but even those could be found elsewhere at a higher quality. I don't have a commercial Membership so I don't know if the prices are better for that...
