Went in to do an early upgrade. My account stated I could return my old one and get the remaining balance waived. Gavin seemed to try anything and everything to make it seem like I couldn't upgrade due to a slight surface scratch on the back of the phone. He stated that if it was sent in, they would send it back and charge me the remaining balance, so I should just pay off the remainder before upgrading. What's the difference if I pay it now, or if they send it back and I pay for it at a later date? Its because it would also come back on them? Never heard of that. So while I sat there pushing for a new phone, I did my research and found the fine print that said the phone had to be in good working condition which it was. Amber was the one who initially helped me and made the switch of phones. I'm not sure if she was new, but she had to go ask Gavin how to do things several times. Process seemed rushed and customer service was not there, besides Amber going to grab my daughter a napkin to wipe her mouth which was appreciated. It honestly seemed as if neither of them wanted to perform a transaction with me or want my business. Gavin seemed to have a sour demeanor in general about everything he did, including talking down on Amber right in front of me. Definitely shouldn't be in customer service. Since it was a corporate store, I would expect much better service and also selection of phones. I wanted a 256 iphone 16 and they ONE iPhone 16 that was smaller capacity. Read more!! amazing, fantastic, wonderful, 10/10. after the complete shit show i experienced with the oak creek store, i could not rave about this verizon location more. walked in and sam immediately took care of us. if i could give this man a raise and a luxury vacation i would, he went above and beyond with helping out my family and i.
from being patient with questions, to explaining and making sure we left confident in our purchases. i would 1000% come back and refer this location solely due to sam’s attention to detail and welcoming demeanor. he was so kind and truly a great person to do business with. to me, it was like buying from an old friend or a family member, it didn’t feel like he was pushing us into a deal we didn’t want or persuading us to buy things we don’t need. (he even stayed later to make sure we were completely set up and satisfied.)

I originally made a purchase of 5 phones with Gavin for my family, however, due to scheduling conflicts, he was unable to help us with picking up and switching over to our new phones. This is where Kevin and Sam went above and beyond for us. Despite this not being their official sale, they were kind enough to be willing to help us with the task of switching over 5 phones and managing their trade ins. They didn’t rush us despite how time consuming it was, made us laugh the entire time, and even helped put on our new screen protectors and cases. We are all so very grateful for their kindness and they most certainly deserve a raise for going above and beyond for their customers! I will definitely be going back if we need help with anything...
