Okay, so, yeah...I get it. The employees at these fast food restaurants aren't make a lot of money so we should give them grace. Well...I have done that, repeatedly, and they keep getting my order wrong. Eventually...one has to ask...what is the problem here??? Making a sandwich is not rocket science. The reason why I go to Panera Bread for lunch is because I am craving one of their pickles...a pickle that is included with the sandwich. I don't even care about the sandwich. It's the pickle that I want. So...after a number of times where I get the sandwich without the pickle...I'm done being quiet about it. I want my pickle in with my sandwich. But...since I'm writing this...the sandwiches aren't inexpensive...so...when I order a Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich...would it be too much to ask for the bacon to be on my sandwich? How do you make a BACON Turkey Bravo sandwich and forget the BACON?? So...today...no bacon (again)...AND NO DARN PICKLE (AGAIN)!!! That is just so wrong. I would have been without my brownie had my husband not looked in the bag and noticed the brownie was missing and asked for it. This after receiving an entirely wrong order in the first place going through the drive-thru. He had to go park and go in and get the correct order. And...like I said...this happened before...and...I have been biting my tongue...trying to give them a break...but I'm spending my money on this food and I should be receiving what I am paying for. I tried calling to complain and get a coupon for a free pickle (after being shorted at least 5 pickles in the last few months) but they don't answer the phone. It really sucks making a sandwich correctly is too much for the employees who are getting paid to make sandwiches. I'm not unfamiliar with working fast food and I know it isn't hard to make a sandwich correctly. So Panera Bread...what is the problem?? Management? Employees who don't care?? Lack of training?? What??
PS...I'm going to start buying grocery store pickles and find the one that is the most similar to Panera Bread's pickles so I never have to waste my $$$ at Panera Bread again. For those of you who care about the pickle...understand this review...because the pickles at Panera really are delish and are the best part of...
Read moreBeen going to the Mt. Pleasant/Racine location on Hwy 20 for years and as of late the service and food consiatency has been going downhill.
I've gotten the order prepared with missing items, missing ingredients or even handed over with the wrong item altogether. Wait times are longer every time and the attitude of the younger cashiers leaves a lot to be desired.
During my last visit, I ordered using the app, arrived 20 minutes later, and waited over 5 minutes on the "Rapid Pickup" line before I got to the pickup window. The cashier told me the food would no be ready for another 10 minutes and asked me to park next to one of the entry/exit doors. Waited there almost 20 minutes before receiving a notification on my phone that they were having long wait times, 40 minutes after placing the order.
When I provided the young cashier with the last ame for the order she just stared at me without saying anything for a long time, I realized she didn't understand or hear what I said so I proceeded to spell it out and also gave her the first name; for some reason she decided that was funny and laughed before going inside to check on the order.
Finally, 50 minutes after the order was placed, 30 mi utes after I arrived at the place, the same cashier came out to ask me if I was waiting for someone else's order. I had enough and gave her a piece of my mind, she then asked me if I could park and come inside to get things straightened out. I refused and repeated the order information, 1 minute later the manager came out with my order apologizing for the wait, saying it had been a communication problem on their end and handed me two vouchers for free pick two meals
I finally told him this was not the first time they screwed something up with my order and told him I did not have any intention of ever...
Read moreWish this had been a one time thing, it seems to be routine at this location. I was first, while ordering, that the sandwich I had ordered would be different as the were out of sweet peppers. As it was after 5 pm, I'd at lunch at 11 am, I was too hungry and tired to drive somewhere else, and I'm not really a fan of any of the other sandwiches offered since the menu change. So, whatever, but you think they'd offer a small discount or free item to compensate. They don't. Buyer beware. In addition, I drive home after waiting what was an extremely long time for my food (at least 10 mins. for half a sandwich and bowl of soup. Didn't even get a drink. And again, they didn't have all the ingredients for the sandwich... i could see if they were really busy, they were not, i was one of 2 cars in the drive thru, this 10 mins im discussing was spent in front if the window, not waiting behind another car) only to discover that, while I did have my soup and sandwich, no croutons, no baguette. Again. Only the 7th or 8th time now from this very location. No spoon either.
In summation, do yourself a favor and hit Potbellies down the street. Seriously, if customer service means this little to this location, they aren't receiving any more of my business, and i recommend you spare yourself the need to make your own experience known. I will drive to Oak Creek or Kenosha before I ever come back here. I'm also considering calling corporate to wage a formal complaint. Charging this much for your food and not giving customers what they've paid for, well... last i checked, that's...
