Has some cute vintage items for reasonable prices but this store is unreasonably overpriced for some of their other items. For example I saw an old shirt there they wanted $40 for that was pilling, had stains and loose threads. Also the ladies who work there have some weird prejudice towards people who dress alternative/goth. One day when I went I was wearing a brightly colored shirt and shorts and no makeup and they were polite to me and left me alone to shop. However, when I came in dressed up in a gothic outfit and dark makeup I was treated much differently. The same ladies didn’t greet me, followed me around the store, asked me 4+ times if I needed help, as someone who worked in retail for 2 years I knew they were treating me like I was going to steal (meanwhile there I am walking around the store in $100 cargo pants, a Vera Bradley purse, Maui Jims sunglasses and $250 headphones….yeah I’m totally someone who would steal) Just because a customer is smart with their money to not spend it on overpriced used items and is dressed differently than the standard style of mount pleasant residents doesn’t mean that they are a thief.
