This is the perfect place. My husband and I stopped here after driving 400 plus miles. We originally were traveling to Hancock, Michigan but decided that it was too far and wanted to stay where we have landed in Munising. As we drove along we noticed this large building that was beautifully decorated from the outside. When we realized it was a hotel we swung in to see if we could get a room. We were unsure if they even had availability, but to our surprisethey did. they were running a special of half off the room if we made reservations to their restaurant. So we booked a king suite and made a reservation for dinner. When we got to our room we were very impressed. Not only was it spacious an clean, but the finishes were amazing. The bed was comfy and the towels were large and soft. After we settled into our room, we decided to explore. On every wall in this hotel we noticed large photographs of local attractions. Pictured rock, Northern lights, waterfalls, lighthouses, etc. They were beautiful. We also noticed that the staff, especially Erin, was friendly and welcoming. Their restaurant, Tracy's, was amazing. My husband and I both had the burger. I highly suggest it as well as their carrot cake.... SO GOOD!! They even brought champagne to our table to celebrate our anniversary. When we returned to our room, they had been there.. They turned on the heat to warm our room and left us a card and present to celebrate our anniversary.. In the morning they had an amazing coffee bar with many choices to choose from. I can't say enough about this place. I am excited to try this hotel again in the summer!!
