LRB Skate and Record Shop — Attraction in Murfreesboro

LRB is the best Skate shop in Tennessee. The variety on decks, wheels, and bearings alone is worth a visit. Clothing more your thing? They have Shirts, hats, socks, and more from all your favorite skate brands. And that’s just half the store. Records? They have everything from Alice In Chains to ZZ Top. Plus the skate park is less than a mile away. But my favorite thing about the shop is Phil. He’s the owner and possibly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He’s not a salesman trying to push product or whatever the latest board/trend is. He’s attentive. He asks you questions about what kind of skating you’re looking to do. He gives you endless options to accommodate YOUR needs. He’s knowledgeable and welcoming to everyone regardless if you’re new to skating or have been doing it for years. When I say this is the best around I mean that in all ways possible! They not only have a great selection but wonderful customer service! The owner is always very helpful and patient with my two younger Skateboarders(13 and 11) and wholeheartedly encourages their love for it. He takes the time to teach them how to care for and repair the parts for their boards. My kids are at LRB a minimum of once a week and sometimes more! They now have made their 20 yr old brother a fan! It's like a family in here. Other boarders jump in and help my little guys learn new tricks when they have no incentive to do so other than they want to be a part of helping future Skateboarders. My kiddos love their apparel and the 13 yr old is a big record fan and always looking through them. Totally recommend you go here because I have not found a reason...

Stopped in to get myself a new complete deck. I was so impressed by their breadth and depth of not only skateboards and accessories, but their record selection as well. The shop has a wonderful wide layout with room to breathe and is very clean. It even has a nice sitting area. The music being played fits the feel of a skate shop.

Phil, the owner, assisted me in choosing a shaped board. He knew what sort of equipment I needed based on my preferences, which can make a world of difference for customers new to a skate shop. Phil assembled my board and I was on my way.
