Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Murray

We have always enjoyed getting ice cream here. A few ago we went to get ice cream. We didn't realize it went curb side. We got out of our cars to go up to the window to look at the menu and lady told us we couldn't go up there. So we just ordered a milk shake and some blizzards and ate on the picnic table. Last night, we went to get ice cream. We waited around 10 minutes and no one came to the car. So I got out and went to the window. 3 staff were trying to figure out change and how to use the new iPad system they have. I asked how I could place an order and one gentleman said he would take it but would be just a minute. I stood there another 10 minutes and they were bringing out orders they had no clue where they went. It was just a mess. I decided to leave ans go elsewhere for ice cream. It shouldn't be that hard to order or even place an order. If they don't want people coming up to the window, then they need menus in the parking lot. The new system set up isn't working for them especially when you have kids out...

We used to make special trips to this dairy queen because they had items other dairy queens don't. But we were sad to see now it is just like any other. The carhop service is horrible. It's a great idea, but place a menu on the side of parking lot so people in their cars can see what they want. When we arrived a young girl came up to the car immediately & asked what we would like to order. We told her well we'd know if there was a menu out by the parking lot. She told us we could walk up to the window to see menu but we must come back to our car to order. Or we could look online at menu. We asked if we could just order at window like we always have. She said no, ordering at window isn't allowed now. We told her we would just take our business elsewhere. If you are going to have carhop service, post a menu out by the parking lot. It's not...

Very old location. We got a dilly bar, an ice water, a hot dog and an ice cream cone. They were good. Wish they had more food options besides only hot dogs. The ordering system is very confusing. We were on a motorcycle and it was hot that day so we went up to the window and were told that we have to wait for the carhop to take our order. It was one guy taking everyone in the parking lots orders and bringing their food. We saw several other people go to the window to try to order as well and get turned away and they just left. Business advice- open your walk up window. Not everyone wants to sit in their vehicle. Some people travel on motorcycles, foot or bicycles. We actually saw a lady and her son who rode their bikes to get some ice cream. They left cause they couldn't order at the window and didn't want to wait on...
