Best donuts in town. Dunkin never stood a chance!
Updated 7/20/24: it breaks my heart to do this. I loved coming here every other weekend if not every weekend and even added it to my regular weekend schedule to get an extra dozen and take it to the wonderful people at Finish Line car. Today they did something unforgivable to me. The knowingly charged me $32.43 for one and a half dozen donuts. One dozen regular which wasn't even what I asked for but the gentleman doesn't understand English very well but that's okay. I didn't want to hurt his feelings. But then the usual kind lady that brings me up every week sat there and knowingly rang me up for a dozen regular Donuts but then charged me for a half dozen donuts that I didn't get or order and then charged me for my regular donuts. And God knows what else they charged me for. There's no way it came out to $32.43 when normally this exact same order is right about $20. Then they want to make me look like the jerk in front of everybody and say will bring my order back in and we'll reverse the card and then charge you again. By this point the line is well out the door. There's no point in making everybody else wait because they screwed up and then make me look like the jerk. Just watch what these people charge for you. Best donuts in town but they take advantage of people because I feel like this has happened to me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhy Murray Donuts? Why? I have recently moved back to Murray after 26 years. When I discovered Murray Donuts I was thrilled! The donuts are wonderful and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! When the pandemic hit I was so relieved to discover they had a drive thru...and, the employees were wearing masks and gloves! Hooray! Unfortunately, when I went today, the staff was NOT wearing masks nor gloves. Not sure what changed? Did the opening up of things cause the shop to think the threat is over? Were there "non-maskers" harassing the staff about wearing them? Has the notion that wearing a mask now symbolizes the ridiculous notion of politics or partisan rhetoric? I can assure you COVID-19 doesn't care. But I do. If Murray Donuts doesn't care enough about me and my health to wear a mask, then I no longer care about their business. Donuts are Great, but not worth the now...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got to try this place by accident, or maybe it was by design who knows. I went to a local coffee shop which was closed for no reason in particular but go back and read my other reviews and I bet you can find out which one it was. Either way when I walked in the first thing I noticed was they had kolacheās, and when I asked the fella behind the counter what those were and where are they indeed kolacheās? He said yes and the only other person that asked him was someone from Texas. Now having lived in Texas I knew what they were right away. If you have not gone to Murray donuts and got their jalapeƱo and sausage kolache for breakfast you are missing out! They are absolutely incredible. They do a great job with their coffee also, itās kind of a cool little vibe in there and also just some good food and the...
