I usually love anthropologie so so much but going into this location put a real damper on my whole day. I went in to shop and not a single employee greeted me, everyone else in the store was greeted and checked on, but not once did anyone say hello or ask me if I needed any assistance. Two employees walked right past me 3 separate times, even greeting customers that came in after me, and no acknowledgment happened in the slightest. Not only was I brutally ignored, the same two employees spent most of the time I was in there complaining loudly about the company at the front of the store where everyone could hear it. I decided I didn't want to stay in there any longer and checked out with what I had already grabbed, I'd have loved to shop more but not with all that happening. I get to the register and the woman checking me out didn't ask any common curtesy retail questions as you normally would which made me even more sad. They're supposed to ask every guest if they're an anthro rewards member, which they asked everyone else they checked out while I was standing in line, but not me. I don't know what it is, but I am saddened and disappointed. No customer should be treated the way I was in there today. I don't think I'll be returning to this location...
Read moreThis is my favorite anthropology store. And I have been to many in various states. Their sale room on the back always has great finds and they carry a good selection of homeware. The main differential from other stores is how kind and warm the staff are. The manager is such a nice woman and seems to hand pick cool girls to join her team. I had to do some confusing returns after Christmas and customer service couldn’t have been better or more patient. I am moving out of Myrtle beach and will miss being able to pop by every week just to check the sale section and buy some things here and there… I wanted to leave a thank you note. I really appreciated the way I was treated...
Read moreSo I just left the Myrtle Beach, SC after purchasing one hat. Usually I'm never greeted upon entering the store or asked if I need any help until I have items in my hand. Today I was greeted with a friendly smile from Bridget when I got to the fitting room to try on my hats. Bridget's customer service was amazing, she went to the back to find me another hat because the one I was trying on had stains. For the past 10 months I've lived in the Myrtle Beach area because my dad is sick. Every time I go into this location the customer service is horrible. I often wonder if it's the way I'm dressed or the...
