I’ve simply never had a worse experience in the food and service industry in my entire life. Not only did we wait over an hour AFTER placing our order but we also waited 35-45 minutes prior just waiting in line to place it! The place had zero organization. Other customers far behind were getting the same shakes we were while we were ā€œsupposedlyā€ next. The place and entire work area was appallingly disgusting behind the counter, at the pick up area, and at the available seatings. Only were things beginning to get cleaned up after I started wiping up the counter because it was so gross! I felt dirty even drinking my milkshake because of the state of the cleanliness. One of the workers had hair down to her knees which flew around into all of the grossness on the counters. I truly am just beyond disappointed. I felt bad even being upset because the only person to blame is the person who runs this place! This ice cream shop should have never been open without basic organizational skills and simple hygiene habits. DO NOT GO HERE! Especially if you don’t want to pay $70 dollars for a awful experience and a side...

i’m like a month late in writing this but i just needed to rave about my experience on 08/02/23. this place was phenomenal, both in terms of the actual milkshake and customer service. i got the realist and it was the milkshake of my dreams. i assumed this is the kind of place you only go once for the novelty and the photo opportunities but i was wrong: this was the kind of place i would return to over and over. it’s probably better for my health that i don’t live near it. i also got the chance to try a brownie ice cream they were experimenting with using and it was delicious. they didn’t advertise any dairy free options online but we asked about it and we were pleasantly surprised to find they offer some — although i got mine full of dairy because yum. i was helped by kennedy and coco and they were so delightful that they made my day; whatever they are being paid, it should be quadrupled for their amazing service and demeanor. highly recommend anybody and everybody go to mean mug and i hope they will all enjoy it as...

This place is overpriced and disgusting. I had to ask the male behind the counter to please change his gloves as they were covered in an orange substance. There was way too much milk added so mine was soupy. Ice cream did not have a good flavor. Cup was sloppily put together. Asked for no whipped cream, and it was added so he scooped part out. The candy was thrown in and sank to the bottom. Once I picked up the cup, everything was pouring out and all over me because of how liquidity it was. I took a few sips and threw away the whole thing. The counters were not cleaned and that’s where he set all the candy pieces. For being so expensive, this was a complete waste of money. The male ended up going to the front end of the bowling alley with another male and left the ice cream part unattended. I would not recommend this...

Visited thus location on 10/27/24 and got the the happy camper in the souvenir mug with a shot of vanilla vodka I don't normally include photos but will fo this just so people can view this work of art. The milkshake was of course sporting the smores theme and was soo good. That shot of vodka took it over the edge and was really surprised how much it added to the shake. At that time I was there I could tell there were 12 different shakes which I hope to try every one of them at some point. Left with a cool mug and a shirt to take home and represent. The portion/quality to dollar ratio is pretty fair, like most things in myrtle beach it's a tourist area and this certainly was a beautiful presentation of a desert. Thank you to the girls who made this visit so good, see you next year. Strong 4.6 out of 5
