East Coast Tea Bar — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

I went here and got a tea. It was really good so I wanted my daughter to try it. We made a trip from Pawleys Island to get a drink. We had a horrible experience and I want to make sure the owners know what is happening at their store. We ordered a peach green tea 1/2 sugar and a rose water tea full sugar half ice. The girl seemed new and had trouble understanding the order so another girl red hair stepped in to help seemly put out. The peach tea was great but the rose drink had no sugar. The girl who needed hep at the register made the tea. We asked if they could put the sugar in the tea and the red head went to check the register to see if we ordered it with sugar which we did. When she sees that she gets the girl that made the tea and she says she did put sugar in it which she did not. The red head pushes the drink back to us. I say can you add sugar to this? She says no they can’t. I asked if she could remake it and she handed it back. We left the store. My daughter said she couldn’t drink it but would put sugar in when we got home. I went back and told them to remake it which she reluctantly did showing me attitude. She used the old tea so it only cost them a new cup. The tea was actually a dark red maybe hibiscus not even the one she ordered. I am very disappointed as I really liked the product and I go to starbucks every day and was looking for a change. There was a third girl there that was very pleasant and was trying to do the right thing. She needs to be the manager not this other girl that has no people skills. literally the most disgusting boba i have ever had, the pearls do not taste like they’re cooked properly, the tea does not have any flavor, and the tapioca just is not good at all. please save your time and go to ANY other boba place

It’s not hard to feel at home here. There is always familiar and friendly faces amongst staff because it usually the same people. They have a wide and wonderful variety to choose from. Not counting the amazing customer service they always provide. If you don’t think they can do something for you simply ask. I promise you they can and they love to please. If you’re considering boba please stop and give this place a try and at least give these friendly people a hello. To be noted if you don’t love the prices go to the other 2 boba spots In Myrtle beach and see how it is the same price as here but you get half of what they provide here.
