Escape Vault — Attraction in Myrtle Beach

We had such a great time attempting to escape the Hannibal rooms! We were looking for something different on a rainy day during family vacation when we found it.

Our 12 year old daughter and her friend have been talking about and laughing hysterically telling our entire family allll about it for the last few hours, and for days to come I’m sure!

The young lady at check in was so sweet and thorough, I wish I caught her name but did not. The rooms were so well thought out, and a little tricky!

Luckily they can give you clues along the way if needed (which we did need) but it was a great problem solving experience that brought us together in a way we never expected.

We are already planning on going back rain or shine this week and will be adding this to the list of “to do’s” during our annual trip.

I will say the Hannibal room was, well the “Hannibal Serial Killer” room so yes a little scary, but the girls powered through and now want to do the Jumanji room. Plus it looks like they change the rooms and themes from time to time so we’re super excited to see what else they come up with!

Did this tonight with my family. This a great up-and-coming escape room. We have done a bunch of escape rooms from inexpensive to premium with automation and this place definitely ranks toward the top. It's also great to have it right in Market Common where it can be a part of your night out. I also managed to meet two of the people running the business. The first was a great dude, my son and I didn't get his name when we first stumbled on the place. He was cool and engaging and did a nice job selling the place to us. McKenna (sp?) was our attendant tonight and she was engaging, funny, kinda snarky-in a good way- and really made the experience better. My wife and I did the Jumanji room tonight, and it was absolutely fantastic. We have been to dozens of escape rooms, and this beat our favorite room only because of the interaction and energy from Tony, our game master. It was a little pricey for us compared to the rooms we do in Michigan, but the room was filled with high quality, valuable items. It was clear they put a lot into this room. No need to worry about malfunctions or being tripped up - the room was seamless from start to finish and more linear than any other room we have been in.
