Update: As requested, I contacted the atore. They sent out the same guys who put the furniture together. One tried to blame the issue on my frames, which were brand new. He did say the sales person would order a new cover. No word from them. I had to go to the store months later, and she didn’t know anything about it. The decision at the store level was to replace the box springs. They were the same cheap metal ones, the cover seems a bit sturdier. No more squeaking but I still worry about the mattresses not receiving proper support and wearing out early.
This store was well stocked and I was able to purchase living room furniture—sofa, chair, ottoman—that I like, Janet was informative and helpful. I also purchased 2 king mattress and box spring combos, and whereas the mattresses are very comfortable, we are not happy with the metal box springs, they squeak, the covers don’t fit well, and ripped after a month of second home usage (slept on 5-6 nights). I was not told until after I paid that I would not be receiving the traditional box springs that were displayed, but was assured that these were “better”. We have serious concerns as to whether these cheap substitutes will support our mattresses properly, or contribute to early deterioration. The delivery team was pleasant, but placed a mattress incorrectly and possibly assembled the above mentioned box springs...
Read moreSo while we were at Ashley furniture we mentioned looking at unclaimed furniture next. The Ashley associate helping us made faces and was quite rude. We left and went to unclaimed furniture anyway. A decision i couldn't be happier about! The selection was very accessible, brand new with tags on furniture! We could sit, lay on and browse however we wanted. We were not pressured in any way but we were told to feel free to ask them for anything we needed. Honestly it felt "comfy." We did decide to buy a sectional that was the same style found at the previous store. Our sales lady was so sweet! She even took time out of her day to send a picture of our couch thru text just so we could settle a dispute between my fiance and i about how big it was and how to move furniture to make room. Lol The delivery of our new sectional was set up for next day between 10 & 1 since we had bought the sectional later in the day. The delivery men called and gave a 20 min notice before arrival right at 10 a.m. and were very nice and extremely professional. Read moreTerrible place to buy furniture. We purchased a 6 piece sectional March 2021. When they delivered the sectional the right hand side looked like it was worn out already and didn't sit properly. We call the following Monday (it was delivered on a Friday). We were told the warrenty person would call us. We waited a week still no call back. We called again and he finally said the repair person would call us another week went buy and still no contact. We called agsin and just got the run around anytime we called. So fast forward 4 months and the repair person came out. We wanted replacement of the piece. He said that just sitting in a warehouse causes the padding ot shrink. So he oadded the back and seat. We have added more paddung to each of the recli ers again. The stitchung is comung out of every piece and the mechanism waa sticking. When checkung thia we found hiles in the fabirc aling the vottom of the recli er. I think we got a uaed piece of furniture. I WILL NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUY FURNITURE...
