pOpshelf — Local services in Myrtle Beach

Last Sunday I was at Popshelf just like any other day, I entered the parking lot seeing one of the new managers I have heard about sitting in their car and thought it was kind of odd but didn’t pay much attention to it, My sister and I then went into the store and grabbed a cart while looking around and noticed a young lady at the register checking multiple customers out and figured she should have help seeing how busy it was in the store. I was in the store for about 20 minutes before seeing the manager enter the store just to leave and go to her car about 10 minutes later and thought it was just off how an manager is constantly leaving the store while having an associate inside by herself especially on an busy day. When I was checking out I scanned an item twice on accident and the young lady at the register told me she needed to get her manager, she went towards the door * I am guessing to see if the manager was still out there* and pulled out her phone and told me that she had sent her manager an message that she needed assistance in the store because she didn’t see her outside. After waiting for about 20 minutes she asked if I would like to move to another register to purchase my items so I didn’t have to wait and I agreed but I side talked with my sister after the situation and felt that this was very unprofessional and that as many tines as I have been shopping at this store I have never seen a situation like this! Also , the music was too loud and I could barely hear myself talking and was thinking of contacting Corporate, but I figured I would leave an review to see if anything changed, the store is great overall and I love shopping here with all the great...

We visited the new Myrtle Beach pOpshelf on the second say that they were open. I was very impressed by quality and variety of items. While we were visiting and shopping the staff was very friendly & engaged making sure that we were finding everything that we were looking for and was always available for questions. When checking out we learned the entire pOpshelf company credit card processing pos system was down and we were unable to complete our purchase. The staff was on top of it! They explained the situation to us and offered to hold our merchandise for later. They took our name and number to call us when the system was available. They delivered on their promise! I received a call the next morning with an invitation to return at my leisure and a heartful apology for the mishap. I was very impressed by the staff on how they handled everything. My rating is strictly based on my experience with a balloon order. I got to the store at 9am when they opened. Purchased the balloons and stated that I will be picking them up at 330pm. I got there 330 and the balloons were not ready. They made several excuses and I explained that is why I placed it first thing so they would have all day. I needed to be up in North Myrtle Beach by 415... I was already going to be late. 15 min later I'm walking out the door and an associate stopped me because they forgot to give me one. I asked them if they could put a weight on that one so it's not flying around in the car and her reply was ma'am that will be $1.
