The Judy B McDonald public library is one of my favorite NAC destinations! Recentlt, on a whim, I decided to get a physical library card for the first time in about 15 years so I could read actual books.
I could not have chosen a better place to re-enter the non-digital literary world where very tactile, aromatic, face-to-face experience are the realities of checking out library books.
What's not to like...
1 Courteous knowledgeable staff who actually smile as if they are Happy you stopped by their desk.
2 A bright, clean, welcoming space.
3 Excellent catalogue of thousands of regular and large print books, movies, games, etc
4 A super children's section that offers not only a great selection of titles for all age groups but also multiple interactive tools/toys designed to engage.
5 Events showcasing various interesting topics.

Read moreThey have community computers that you can use for an hour at a time. They have free public wifi, and a huge selection of books to choose from for all ages. They even have a gym on the other side of the building with basketball, weights room, tennis/bad Minton, and more. I think it's like $2-$3 a day to use the gym for however...
