I have never had a worse experience than what I had tonight ordering and dealing with this restraunt. I placed my order by phone and was very clear that my order was to have no mushrooms (I have a food allergy). The waitress repeated the order exactly and I went there at the time the food was supposed to be done, and even tipped the waitress (cause food service people doing covid deserve more). I get the food home and open it and there is a large mushroom stem and piece of mushroom head. I had my boyfriend try them to verify they were infact mushrooms before I called back. when I did call back it took 15 minutes for the staff to figure out what to do constantly putting me on hold or repeating my statement in English / Spanish. the staff insists that the chef did not put mushrooms in it and I told them that I have an allergy and can't eat it, and maybe it ended up in my food from another order. they continue to ensist I must be wrong, and to return to the food to them with the mushrooms. I tell them I will return the food and that they should have another plate fixed when I get back to the restaurant. This exchange took over 15 minutes. Which considering the issue was dealing with an allergy and their mistake is absolutely ludicrous. I returned to the restaurant with the food which they promptly open and root around in food looking for mushrooms with the older women and cook shaking Thier heads saying no no no speaking Spanish back and forth. I tell there are no more mushrooms, my boyfriend made sure they were actually mushrooms before starting all this ( cause why on Earth would I want more food or to return to the restaurant at 9 pm. I just want SAFE food). They say they needed the mushrooms, never offered me a replacement meal, and kept saying I was lying about mushrooms being in the meal. I told them what if I had ate it and ended up in the hospital, where they going to pay for that? After basically being called a lair about the mushrooms the refunded me for my meal (not all our food just mine) and the tip. Its a FOOD ALLERGY, you dont mess with that as a food service establishment,. You fix the problem not call your costumer a liar! Ordinarily when we go out this is no big deal, we just let the people know and the food is replaced. Not here. No, here they argue with you and assert that you're wrong.
Rather than offer to remake the food, they argued that the dish doesn't have mushrooms and that the cook said he didn't put any in the dish. They told her to bring the food back and when she gave it to them they didn't even have another dish waiting. Instead they opened the container and dug around before calling her a liar. She explained to them that I ate the mushrooms to confirm if it was a mushroom (it tasted like a mushroom, had the same texture as a mushroom, we believed it to be a mushroom), and they still argued with her. She brought up the fact she could end up in the hospital because of her food allergy and they threatened to throw her out.
Regardless of if it was actually a mushroom or not, someone with a FOOD ALLERGY is concerned about her food, you REMAKE THEIR FOOD. I will never be returning, she will not be returning. This was their second chance (the first time we went the food was okay at best), and they blew...

And then informed me that they do not deliver here at night. She then hung up before I could ask why so I called again wondering why that delivery was not an option. she then said that “there where paying customers waiting so do not call again” and the reason they do not deliver is “because of you and the thugs that live there” then she hung up.
