I applied at this place late August and told them i was available all week (i am a student). I called back a week later to follow up on my application and was told by the manager that day that they typcally call out and don't expect people to call them back (unprofessional?) So i called back the next week as anyone would being interested in a job and the employee was told to tell me the manager wasnt in.. Then I said im calling about an application and the manager quickly was given the phone. I told him i called last week to follow up on my application im just calling again being that its been two weeks and i havent heard from y'all. He said that he is going over the applications and i should hear back from him in the next few days. Another week goes by and I call again (fully aware im not getting this job and they wont tell me). The manager says the same thing again that he will call me within the next few days. Its october and this still just gets my nerves. What kind of company just keeps you in the air on whether you have a job or not? This place has great coffee i really wanted to work here but I'm writting this review to warn future applicant that they are super unprofessional with their hiring process and their main manager is somewhat of a liar and cant...

First off, the coffee speaks for itself. The quality is amazing and every time I pick up my drink I know it was made with love. I’ve never been disappointed. Second, the staff is always so nice and genuine. No matter how I order (drive thru, mobile order, in person) the baristas are always so nice and the wait is less than 2 minutes. I know that a lot of local businesses were deeply affected by COVID, but with Java Jacks keeping their drive thru open and even now partnering with a third party app to mobile order ahead and pick up in store, not to mention ALSO allowing guests to order to-go inside, they have done really well on meeting the needs of local residents and offering multiple ways to order while still following health and safety guidelines. Seeing some of the negative comments the company has received in the past honesty hurt me because as someone who also manages a restaurant, I know how much time and dedication food service workers put in to making something for the community to enjoy. As long as I live in Nacogdoches, Java Jacks will have all my money. Thank you for...

Java Jacks in Nacogdoches, Texas is a coffee house that impresses with its quick and efficient service. The staff here knows how to keep things moving, ensuring you get your caffeine fix without any unnecessary delays. Alongside their promptness, the standout feature of Java Jacks is undoubtedly their mouthwatering muffins.

The muffins at Java Jacks are nothing short of heavenly, especially the ones that make you want to savor every bite. However, if you're a late riser, you might find yourself disappointed as the coveted orange cranberry muffins tend to disappear early in the day. But fear not, the harvest grain muffin is a reliable alternative. While it may not reach the same heights as its fruity counterpart, it still offers a satisfying experience.

Java Jacks is a go-to spot in Nacogdoches for those seeking a quick and efficient coffee house experience. If you manage to get your hands on their delectable muffins, you'll understand why they are the talk of the town. Java Jacks has something to offer that will satisfy your cravings just not orange...

Was in need of coffee this morning so I decided to give Java Jacks a try. While waiting in the drive thru, young lady inside told me to that she was running behind and to give her 8 mins. Well, it’s been 30 minutes of waiting in the drive thru and they still have yet to open. Multiple people are in the store walking around but ignoring the window. Young lady in red finally came to the window to take our order at 7:48. We’ve been here since 7:19 in the drive through, waiting. They were probably hoping we left, i don’t know. But I waited and the coffee was horrible. I will never come back here if this is how staff behaves and if the coffee isn’t good. I get you’re running late but at least make sure you craft QUALITY drinks for those you make wait for 30 mins. Side note: imagine waiting in the drive thru and someone parked in the parking lot walks up to the door to get their drink that was made ahead of time, but everyone else who’s been waiting to be let in still weren’t till the same time our order was taken. Crazy! LOL

The smell of freshly baked blueberry muffins greeted me at the door and coaxed me into its spell with its siren song. It only got better from there. Good music played over softly as patrons enjoyed good conversation over delightfully brewed beverages. As I awaited my cappuccino, I perused the whole bean selections. Found one I liked and bought it. Locally grown and roasted, the vast and interesting selection offers something for everyone. I made a point to further explore the cafĂ© and discovered the neat upstairs lounge. Oh, and did I mention they had a second-floor patio? If you ever come to Nacogdoches and need a pick-me-up, let Java Jack’s bring you to coffee heaven and away from the worries of your world.

I love Java Jacks: it is a beacon of third wave specialty coffee in the heart of deep east Texas. From the litany of creative lattes to the cappuccino and other traditional drinks, to the single origin beans and home brew equipment available for purchase, I always look forward to Java Jacks when I visit Nacogdoches. Plus the building is really cool with its hexagonal-domed roof with skylights on the second floor; excellent ambience for working. Music is not too loud, so virtual meetings are possible with headphones/earbuds, though the music may come through as background noise. They also have good scones and other food.
