I am not one to leave reviews unless they are good however what me and my boyfriend are going through I don't want someone else to go through. Me and him have been diligently looking for a Blackstone for months and we found a deal on Sportsman's warehouse for the exact one we wanted. We felt it was too good to be true so we waited and when it was still up we grabbed the offer. So Monday (8/11/25) my boyfriend spend $300 on a Blackstone. Tuesday (8/12/25) he gets an email saying they had insufficient inventory so the order is canceled, confused we went back to their website seeing we could buy it again if we wanted to. The email also included how the card wasn't charged (but it in fact was charged) and how it may take several days for the pre-authorization to reflect the bank statement. So we went to this Sportsman's warehouse to talk to someone that following Wednesday (8/13/25) they tell us they aren't sure what happened which I am not blaming them for anything about the purchase, they reassured us it takes about 10 business days but the money will be back in our pockets and included a phone number to call if we needed the money sooner. My boyfriend then calls that number Tuesday (08/20/25) where they were blunt with him and basically said they didn't know anything. Today my boyfriend calls them again to where they tell him that they didn't start the refund process until yesterday and so the 7-10 business days we were told on the 13th just started today. I am frustrated that you were able to take money on something you didn't have. After emailing us on the 12 you then days later change the inventory on the item we had bought on the website when it should have stated that all along. That website needs some serious reconstruction if it doesn't know inventory and you need to have a better system on refunds when the $300 we are waiting on is still in your hands. That's a lot of money to wait to get back for something we were never able to buy if it was out of stock the whole time. I strongly suggest everyone not to use their website to order anything especially if it is that expensive or you too will be down a lot of money getting a lot of different answers to an issue that should have...

Be cautious. Today’s experience taught me not to trust anything that comes out of the mouths of their staff. Many are dishonest.
I went into their Nampa store yesterday morning (Jan 22nd) to buy a Firman Generator. Sales associate said they (and Meridian) were out of stock but he would sell the floor display. I declined and said I’d order online and have a new one shipped to their location for pickup. I received a notification later that night that it was ready for pickup. I thought it was odd that they got one in so quick, so I called early the next morning (Jan 23rd) to make sure it was NEW and NOT the floor display. I was told it was NOT the display.
So I went in to pick it up and they brought out a box that had been (re)taped closed. After signing the pickup slip and while walking out, they then told me that all returns need to go through Firman. I stated, if I find out this is a display, I’d be returning it to their store. My gut had a knot, all the way out to my vehicle. After loading into my vehicle, I walked back to make sure the display was still there and it was gone. So I went back out to open the box and look for myself.
My findings: No plastic bag around the generator. A piece of torn clear tape on the front face. It was covered in dust. I took it out of the box and checked for the obvious... the bottom was covered with scratches and yellow paint where it had sat and been dragged across the metal display rack. There were other scratches where it looked like the security cable was locked around the frame. So I returned it. But not before they had their 10 minute private group meeting. No apology given. No explanation. No offer to reorder. Nothing.
Dishonesty and Bad Customer Service. I would have gladly waited for a new generator if they had just been honest. Hopefully Bass Pros gets rid of those staff people....
Read moreI walked into the Nampa store to return some items. I had them in a shopping cart. I stood by the cashier desk for almost 10 minutes while three different employees walked right past me made eye contact did not say a word . I did not have my Rousse, so I wanted to make sure the employees know I was returning items and not trying to purchase them. I decided to wait in line for another 15 minutes to be told I could not return them without a receipt there is a man in a red flannel without a green vest Walked right past me looking at me the entire time and didn't say a word. I thought he was a customer non-employee I was wrong if anyone of those three employees would have asked me if I needed help I would've been in and out in five minutes because I did not have my receipt and I would've been OK with that , instead of a 45 minute ordeal. I was advised after I left to call customer service they could help me find my receipt. That was also incorrect. That was a 30 minute phone call with no information that would help me return my items I stated I had the credit card, but apparently warehouse does not have the ability to look it up by credit card like every other large retail Store. I would not be this upset if someone would've acknowledged me and asked me if I needed help and I would've been out of the store in five minutes and that's my fault. I don't have the receipt but the disregard to customers and Waste of my time . Needless to say, I will no longer be making the trip out there and we have to find a different sporting store and if you need any customer service, don't expect anything of quality as they will leave you empty-handed...
