Well it started out as a great mothers days until we sat down to my girlfriends favorite restaurant. our servers name was Gavin. and as he passed us multiple times, each time he would tell us that he would be right back. we had ample amount of time for the 4 of us to know our drinks and meals by the time he finally came back for our drink order. After ordering we also requested the famous bread sticks(he should have brought those with him by the way, he had went to the kitchen 3 times before coming to our table). We ordered our food and then the wait began. After 30 minutes he came to our table and told us that there was a new guy in the kitchen and that's why it was taking so long. Then he came back and asked us if we already paid(which mean our order wasn't on his screen, which we checked on the table kiosk and it had just popped up. He also told us that it was a busy night. We now know that he didn't put our order in. Manager came to us at almost the 1 hour mark and gave us a 25 dollar gift card and told us that the salmon was taking the extra time to cook. UGH, "whatever" is all we thought at this point. When the food came, the salmon was definitely fresh but the edges of my mushroom pasta was dry as it had been sitting for quite some time. No one was really hungry cause we spent the last hour snacking on breadsticks because we were bored waiting for our food. I had a coupon for a free dessert so we ordered that on the kiosk. After he ran the coupon and my card, we still had to request our dessert. 10 minutes went by and he came to our table to ask us which dessert we ordered, ten minutes after that we finally got our dessert and could finally leave.
we understand that there are busy nights, but i am also a firm believer that you should always be honest with your customers and don't pass the blame on anyone but yourself. That is your table and your customer, you own the entire situation and deal with other factors after you make your customers happy.
i love olive garden but after tonight i will never go back. Maybe ill order take out or something but i wont go to a place where i don't feel like...
Read moreI am thankful that they have cleaned the place up. The service has improved as well as the food products. My current review is based on our last visit. The food was good, the bathrooms were clean & the service was good too. 🙂
My review below is based on a visit during covid. I don't believe that the pandemic is an excuse for what we endured while dining there. I am keeping the original review below. I want folks to know what went on. I'm thankful they have improved greatly. Still. I dnt believe the pandemic wasn't a good enough excuse! If u can't offer good food and a clean and sanitary environment, then u should NOT be open to the public.
THIS below is an old review of mine. I've been in a few times since, and the service has improved greatly. 5 of us came in last night. Unfortunately our visit was less than unpleasant. I know that the food industry is taking a hit, but some things can not be overlooked. After we ordered, I went to the ladies' bathroom. The toilets were DISGUSTING!! I was appalled at the filth. Clearly, those toilets have NOT BEEN CLEANED IN WEEKS. Maybe even longer. I've used outside gas station bathrooms that were cleaner. There is NO EXCUSE regarding the bathrooms. Clearly, management is not following state protocol during covid. I have 2 auto-immune diseases. This spells disaster for anyone who suffers from any immune deficiency. IF U YOU ARE KEEPING THE RESTAURANT OPEN, then YOU absolutely HAVE to clean the restaurant, especially the bathrooms, EVERY DAY!!! 🤢 Our server was kind. She made 2 mistakes regarding our orders. No biggs. The bread sticks were very doughy. We didn't eat them. Our soup (Zuppa) had little flavor at all. Which was a huge bummer. We all come for that soup. I feel like if U chose to cut corners, then maybe u shouldn't be open to the public. WE DESERVE BETTER. Sincerely, Disgusted in...
Read moreMy husband and I came for date night. I got on the waiting list on our way there and was excited when it said there was none. We walked in we're sat right down. Our waitress came over shortly after. We already knew what we wanted to eat along with our drink order we ordered our food. Our waitress brought out the salad. She put my plate on the table in front of me and there was food on it. She then proceeded to wipe it off with her hand while it was sitting in front of me. I asked if I could please get a new one and she apologized. My husband's plate also had food on it but he just wiped it with his napkin. My small bread plate had food on it as well. I ordered soup and salad. She originally brought us 3 bread sticks. When she went to bring my husband his dinner and my soup I asked if we could have more bread and water. She said of course. About 10 mins later she finally brought out the water and then asked if we needed anything else. I said yes, could we get more bread. She said yes. She brought us back 2 pieces of bread. With how long she'd be taking I asked if I could have another bowel of soup.she said yes and left. I processed to watch her come out to the table next to us 3 times with out bringong back soup. The last time she left we hadn't seen her for awhile. My husband who needed a to go box said just pay on the tablet and let's go. I'm tired of waiting. I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here to anyone unless you are play with having to repeatedly ask for what you need and then probably not getting it.
I have plenty of patience for new waitresses. Because their new and need it. But this was ridiculous and a waste of money. I gave 2 stars because the food was good. Service sucked going off service alone it would...
