Sushi Sushi — Restaurant in Nampa

“Theoretically, I would have given them 4 stars. Simply due to their friendly services. After hours of searching my area for sushi, getting acquainted with all of the menu’s, deciding on a place, only to find out they were randomly closed on this day, buying sushi for me today, was my gift to myself. Unable to afford much set aside, I knew what I wanted. I made a walk-in order with a wait of 20 mins, as they were packed. I ordered the Triple Spicy Roll. Which came to be mushy, not too spicy at all and extremely limited tabiko (which I love). The menu stated “multi-colored Tobiko, on top”. There was only a tiny amount of the red-tobiko on top. I also ordered a bowl of miso soup (because that’s my favorite, as well as my ‘go-to’, when I’m feeling down). I then added a Seaweed Salad. Within seconds of me getting in my car to place the bag down, the main roll almost slipped out of its container, wrecking it all up. The worst part is my miso “bowl” lid, was not correctly on, eventually spilling 2/3rds all over my purse and car. Maybe they are a great place but one I feel will only benefit from dining in. Yet the way my day played out, wasn’t a surprise that everything would go wrong, although hoping otherwise. This is only the 2nd time I’ve been there, with both visits being ‘take-out’. So I may be premature to rate them this way. I will say this, they are worth the try. At least the first-fourth, maybe fifth visit. I suppose only...

Excellent food, Inattentive service. The white waitress who seated us and took our order was not service oriented or accurate. It was not because she was busy. We were seated a very long time before she came to ask what we wanted to drink. By then we were ready to order. Especially on a hot, summer evening, we would have appreciated water soon after being seated. We still didn't get water until quite awhile after we ordered. We ordered a California roll without cucumber or avocado, stating that our 7 year-old just likes plain crab in the middle. She nodded and wrote something down as if she understood. When she brought it to the table, it had avocado in it. When we reminded her that's not what we ordered, she didn't apologise or offer to fix it, she just said she thought we said no cucumber. We had to ask for tableware after receiving our food and then wait for her to laboriously put together our napkin, fork, and chopstick sets. She could have been putting these together instead of just standing behind the counter as she was observed doing most of the time. We ordered stir fried vegetables with one of our bento dinners and it came with tempura vegetables. We just let it go. O well we won’t be going back after coming here for 4 years! Also I have recommended this place to over a 100 people through the college I attend. I will definitely be sharing no longer and will now let people know of the experience that happened yesterday. My daughter absolutely loved coming here. She is 7 and instead of tricker treating during Halloween she chose this place to eat. We eat here at least 1 month. Beside only having one time where they left shells on the shrimp inside their roll which was extremely gross we have continued to come. Now I think the shells were on purpose since the next time we showed up WE WERE IGNORED! My husband and daughter sat down and I came in shortly after also being ignored. There were booths available but we sat patiently to get no response. A few minutes go by and another family walks in and they serve them without missing a beat!! We left never to return and I hope this review hurt them as much as this hurt my daughter’s feelings. The only thing she wanted after her tap recital. I will be sharing this with this large dance studio as well as the college of CWI. This place doesn’t want your business! The fake red hair gal I see has has bad reviews on her little attitude as well and let me tell you you don’t want that face running your business. Her attitude is...
