Had a strange experience here last night: Pulled in to drive-thru, approx 5 cars in front of & beside me. Placed my order (8pc meal) they forwarded me to a very nice young lady at the umbrella to pay. As I waited, their server went down. She was very apologetic & I told her not to be, this kind of stuff happens & i wasn't in a hurry. Cars started to pile up a bit (8-10 behind me) but no one seemed upset as far as I could tell. About 6-7 min go by & a girl comes running around the building with two handheld devices, runs right past us all to the back of the line. Waited a couple more minutes & the nice young lady at the umbrella gets a message in her ear & says 'they're going to take your payment at the window'. No problem! I pull around & 6-7 of their teenagers are a little frantic but trying to get through this. One of their 16 or old bots walks up to my windows & takes my debit card out of my hand & says 'I'll take your payment' I said OK, but how much is it? He says 'oh yeah, I'll let you know' goes back in started to reach over & swipe my card & asks how much it is. They stop him & say something to him, he comes back to my car & asks 'what did you order? ' I said 'you don't have it? ' he says 'Nope.... it's gone' but he's still got my debit card, waving it around like it's a worthless piece of paper. With all the chaos going on just inside the window, I didn't feel real comfortable with what was going to be charged to my card. There were so many teenagers scurrying in & out, swiping cards, no receipts, no food coming out.... so I just said 'I'm good. Thank you though' & took my card back. He looked a little shocked & asked if I was good. I assured him I was & left. Just strange how he took my card & didn't really seem to care that it was linked to a checking account with...
Read moreAbsolutely shocked this place has made it this far being ran the way it is. Went into the drive-thru, ordered food for three people, and got home to find inside the bag there is a single item, which wasnt even a part of our actual order. I come back through the drive-thru and the person taking orders told me to go straight to the window where they give the food out to give them my receipt to have them remake it. After explaining to them what happened, and explaining to look inside the bag and not on the ticket on the outside that basically tells them "it's the right order" I finally get the group of kids to understand what i was needing them to do. They come bring out two bags of food and apologize and say "we double checked the order, and threw in a cookie for this happening", so I put the bags down and start to drive off, and immediately felt like I cant trust the kid who said he double checked the order. Checked the bags and found that they still had a missing item in the order. I then come back to the lot, park, and come inside to get the missing item, and was met with nothing but rude responses and finally received the full order and made it back home almost an hour later than I had originally been at home, wanting to have dinner with my family. The fries were luke warm at best even fresh from the bag when leaving, and the chicken strips were dry. Also loved that the wrong order with a single sandwich in the bag originally had over double the amount of sauce packets they had put in with the actually correct order after me coming back and everything. Maybe they were training a lot of people, or maybe the way of this company is to hire 20 children on and have them all working at once with no real true supervision and they get to do whatever they want. But either way, this experience was quite...
Read moreDec 2023 Here is my Chick-fil-A update. I have been through four times now. Mostly my first review still stands. They are busy, but well organized. The food is plain but well prepared and hot. But this time through I received chicken nuggets instead of Chicken strips. I didn't realize I had received the nuggets instead of strips until I got home and handed the food to my wife. By the time we ate and I called the store, I got put through to customer service where I learned that they close based on Eastern time. I hope I remember to call tomorrow since I can't complete my experience with them tonight. I don't know the price difference between the $10.69 I paid for the chicken strips combo and the nuggets I received, but it was disappointing and now it has become time-consuming. So today's service is 4 stars because of the missed item.
Aug 2023 Chick-fil-A is always busy. The drive-through has two lanes and each lane had a dozen cars in line when I arrived. But the staff took orders on the move and worked down the line. When I got to the other side of the building, the three people delivering orders to cars were quick and efficient.
So I don't like the crowded drive-through, but they handled it better than most places.
The food was fine, but plain. It was hot when I received it, but by the time I got to eat it, it had cooled. I know that isn't Chick-fil-A problem, but it still detracts from my enjoyment.
And they seem pricier than...
