Burger Theory — Restaurant in Nampa

firstly, finding it was a little hard its inside of the holiday Inn. service was great our server was a sweet little alternative lady and she was very nice, and prompt with our drinks and food. Provided great service and we could see the bartender whipping up fancy drinks that looked great (we don't drink but we like to admire). The food is where it starts going down hill. We got recommended here and told it was great so Im wondering if this is just an off day. The I ordered a Philly burger medium on a potato bun with slaw on the side. a well Philly burger on a regular bun is what I got I was already a couple bites I and I feel horrible complaining plus it wasn't a big mistake so I kept on munching. the slaw however was GOD AWFUL, I love slaw ive had some peppery slaw and some vinegary slaw but this literally tasted rancid it hit my mouth and immediately got ejected into my napkin. My friend took one wiff of it and was disgusted it smelt rancid too. my friends burger came out correct except she added jalapeños and they didn't put them on (the waitress made sure we didn't get charged for them she was very apologetic and offered another burger ) other than that her food was good. It wasn't to expensive it was very decently priced but don't know if I'd go back. Your service staff and front of house is great your back of house needs to lay off the penjamin ...

Let me start off by saying I have worked several restaurants and know the expectations of the establishments and their employees. I went over to Burger Theory to meet up with my extended family, and got there a little bit late. My family had already been there for about ten minutes and had no drinks, which was no big deal because it meant we could all order together. Well we sat there for another 10min with no service whatsoever until a girl came by and informed us that our server would be with us shortly. After waiting for another 5 min with no service we decided to leave. As we were leaving not one person stopped to say bye, or to ask why we were leaving, it was like we didn’t even exist! So I decided to stick around and ask for a manager... which never came. They sent out a shift lead for me to talk to. I explained the him that we sat there for 25 min without drinks or anyone even acknowledging us. He apologized and said the server said we had only been there like 15 min, but had yet to come by. He offered free drink coupons and that was it. Overall it was a very unsatisfactory first visit to this location and I will not be returning. I didn’t even get to try the food. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. First our waitress has a huge hickey on her neck which in my opinion is super unprofessional. Second my husband ordered a well done burger and even had a two minute conversation on how he did not like pink in his burger and when the burger came out it was mushy raw. The waitress took his burger to the back and “recooked” it and brought the same burger back. For a $15.50 burger they should have gotten a new burger. Even after his burger came back it was still one of the worst burgers he has had. My husband ended up finishing the kids meal burger because his was so horrible. Third when we got our bill we were charged for kid drinks that were suppose to come with the kids meal and they never offered the desert that also comes with the kids meal.
