I’ve been coming to this store since I was a kid, back when it was still Napa Food Center. Over the years, I’ve watched it grow and evolve into what is now Mi Familia Market—and the transition has been amazing. They’ve done a great job adapting to meet the needs of Hispanic families in our community, from the wide selection of quality ingredients to the cultural staples you can’t find just anywhere.

My family & I are regulars here for groceries, taqueria, meat, etc. Their food from the taqueria is usually consistently good, but this last time we went, they gave us a chicken burrito with inedible chicken. Biting the chicken was like trying to bite a rock. It was impossible. The burrito and our money went to waste. We tried to call customer service about the issue and he said "next time you need to ask if the chicken is fresh or not." So my understanding is they are okay selling chicken that is not edible and that it's our fault for not asking if it's edible first...? How crazy for me to assume that the food I ordered should have been edible. Terrible...
