Bay Area Getaway | Ultimate Guide to Sonoma-Napa Family Fun

Fuller Park has a number of areas that are ideal for kids' birthday parties, picnics, or other celebrations. The areas must be reserved in advance. Most of the party/picnic areas are nicely shaded by trees, though at least one is completely without shade, so that one would be miserable on a hot day. TIP- Bring your own garbage bags (and plan to take them when you leave). The trash receptacles at the park are like mailboxes with small openings. All the party areas skirt the playground, so parents can keep an eye on their kiddos. There is no parking lot, but there was plenty of street parking when we were there.

Complete with a massive playground area, Fuller Park is excellent. Lots of parking, lots of shade trees, several picnic tables about. I love that the playground is surrounded by a low fence with limited access which makes it harder for little ones to wander off or for strangers to approach. I had an enjoyable visit at this block-sized park. Plenty of space to move around and not have to rub shoulders with others. Street parking is available along the perimeter.

Very beautiful one block park I've been going to for 65 years. It keeps getting more lovely as the years go by. Nothing fancy. Playground, picnic benches, barbecues with reservations of areas available for private parties. Lots of wonderful trees in the heart of old Napa with Victorian mansions in the surrounding streets. Off the beaten path of the throng of tourists it offers a pleasant respite in the community. Maybe a street vendor. Downtown Napa is four blocks away past the previously mentioned Victorian mansions. The park and all other parks in the city of Napa do not allow alcohol or smoking. Dogs must be on...

Fuller Park has been there since at least the 60s. At my mom used to take me there and they had music in the Parks every weekend was whomever played music! You can rent the tables out for a party or just kick it on a blanket and watch the traffic go by or check out the Beautiful victorians on every side of the block. It has nice clean restrooms, but sometimes it can get dirty. Lots of people go there to play and the playground is nice and big for little kids or big kids. The folks are nice and talkative which makes it nice for parents. I...
